Zelda Tears of the Kingdom 1.2.1 Patch Notes
There are quite a few fixes included in this patch. Here’s a list of all the changes in update 1.2.1, copied verbatim from Nintendo’s official website.
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the screen to flicker intensely when large amounts of stamps were placed on the map.
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from obtaining the contents of treasure chests attached to Flux Constructs when the treasure chests disappeared as a result of Flux Construct attacks.
- If the treasure chest disappeared, reloading the save data will restore the treasure chest or cause the contents of the chest to automatically appear in your bag.
- If a certain event does not trigger by talking to Koltin after collecting all the Bubbul Gems, downloading this update data will fix it so the event will trigger.
- Various other issues have been fixed to improve the gaming experience.
How to update Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
If your console is set to allow automatic software updates, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom version 1.2.0 will begin downloading and installing automatically once you connect to the Internet.
If your console does not allow automatic software updates, you can follow these simple steps to update your version of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
- First, connect your Switch console to the Internet.
- In the start menu, hover over Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to highlight it (but don’t start it).
