The real names of the PES 2018 teams are useful if you don’t agree with the idea of downloading a pre-made option patch or, worse yet, the option doesn’t exist because you’re playing on Xbox One.
If you want to play PES 2018 as if it were a fully licensed game, you need to spend time in the game editor menus and change things yourself.
The process may take some time; players claim to change each Data collection, including creating custom kits and renaming stadiums, leagues, cups, etc., can take up to 40 hours.
However, if you are only interested in team names, so as not to play Man Red in a local derby against Man Blue, then you can achieve the desired results fairly quickly and without complications.

Which leagues have official licenses in PES 2018?
Fortunately, this year’s Pro Evo has a fairly comprehensive collection of officially licensed competitions. A handful of leagues are done in-game, either entirely or very close. Here is a list of the leagues that you do not need to edit:
- League 1 Conforms
- Domino League 2
- Eredivisie
- Serie A, in addition to Juventus and the official name of the league.
- Brazilian Championship Serie A
- Chile League
- Argentine League
- AFC Champions League
Crucially, note that German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are not represented in the game at all. The only club teams available this season are the official versions of Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and FC Schalke 04, all of which are listed under “Other European Teams”.
List of real PES 2018 team names
To help you rename computers without a license, we have put together a table containing all relevant computers and their real-world names. Change them in the game and at least you’ll understand who’s who when PM Black White eliminates London FC in the Champions League.
Note: Teams for which PES 2018 is officially licensed, such as Liverpool, most of Serie A, FC Porto and Barcelona, have been excluded from the following lists.

Arsenal and Liverpool are the only officially licensed English Premier League teams this season, but the remaining 18 clubs require editing.
