Fortnite Klombo locations: Where to find Klomberries and how to feed Klomberries to a Klombo in Fortnite

A Klombo is the new type of dinosaur introduced in Fortnite during Chapter 3 Season 1.

Unlike the birds of prey in Chapter 2, these creatures are not aggressive unless you decide to start a fight. Instead, they choose to wander around the Fortnite map in search of their favorite food: klomberries.

Below, you’ll learn how to find Klombos and Klomberries, plus how to feed a Klombo Klomberries.

Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! Fortnite – Feeding a Klombo

Klombo in Fortnite explained

Klombos are the giant dinosaurs that you can find when exploring the Chapter 3 Fortnite map.

These creatures are docile by nature, allowing you to walk up to them and even stand on their backs without problems, but if you choose to attack them, they will turn red and respond with violence. At the time of writing, it is unknown if a Klombo can be killed in the game, and unless you are prepared to die, we do not recommend attempting to do so.

Run!

If you give Klomoberries to a Klombo, they will both change color and shoot an object out of their blowhole. It can be anything from a useful weapon to a healing item or a shield potion.

Klombos also like to eat any leftover loot lying around, so be sure to grab whatever you want if there is any nearby.

When getting on the back of a Klombo, you can also use the blowhole to shoot yourself into the air. This will allow you to glide for a short period of time, which is great if you want to quickly traverse part of the island.

Stand on this blowhole to get some air!

Where to find Klombos in Fortnite

Klombos can, albeit slowly, move around the Fortnite map, which can make them difficult to locate. Always be sure to listen for its footsteps, roars, and any changes in the music of the outside world when searching for a Klomobo, because this will indicate its current location.

Since they can wander, we can’t tell you exactly where to find a Klombo, but we can show you the general areas where we find them on the map below:

Klombo locations in Fortnite.

Remember: Klombos can and will move, so they may be outside the areas shown above. We will add more Klombo locations as we find them.

Where to find Klomberries in Fortnite

To feed a Klombo in Fortnite, you first need to find some Klomberries and luckily, these blue raspberries grow all over the island. The bushes tend to grow in clumps, so keep an eye out for a collection of plants growing on blue Klomberries.

Klombos can also often be found wandering near the Klomberry bushes, which is very useful if you want to feed one of these dinosaurs.

You can also purchase Klomberries in Haven, which can be found at the Lil’ Shaftie landmark west of Chonker’s Speedway, for 25 gold bars.

It’s important to note that like all foraged food, Klomberries will take up space in your inventory, so you may have to sacrifice an item to transport them. Eating a Klomberry yourself will give you 10 HP, or if it’s full, it will give you 10 shield points.

How to feed Klomberries to a Klombo in Fortnite

After searching for food, it’s time to feed a Klombo with Klomberries in Fortnite! First, you need to visit one of the Klombo spawn locations and, since these creatures can move, listen for the sound of their footsteps. Since Klombos walk quite slowly, it should be quite a bit easier to find them.

Once you’ve found a Klombo, go to their head and throw the Klomberry in front of them. The Klombo will then eat the Klomberry and in return an object will shoot out of its blowhole.

At the time of writing, there are two challenges related to Klombos and Klomberries. The first is a milestone quest that involves how many Klomberries you give to a Klombo; Like all Milestone missions, it has 20 stages and starts with 5 Klomberries successfully fed.

The second is the season quest for week 7: “Throw a Klomberry while within 10 meters of a Klombo.” The easiest way to complete this quest is to make sure you are as close to the Klombo as possible when you throw the Klomoberry.
