Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak adds new monsters, gear, quests, and resources to the main game.
Awegite was introduced as a mining outcrop in Monster Hunter Rise and is used in several armor crafting recipes and some decorations.
To make sure you have enough Awegite to create new builds, we’ve detailed exactly where to get it. Not only that, but you’ll also find information on the best ways to maximize your performance on each expedition, meaning you can spend less time gathering materials and more time hunting monsters. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Awegite Location
Awegite can be found in white and blue mining outcrops in the Sanctuary Ruins area. Make sure you have Master Rank selected and head to the Shrine Ruins. You will find the location of the mining outcrops on the following map:
Please note that with each outcrop, there is a chance you will get Awegite, so it is not a guaranteed drop. We recommend opening your detailed map and using the icon search function to mark outcrops yourself. This will give you additional information about exactly where they sit. Some are located on top of cliffs, so be sure to grab rations from the item box to keep your stamina up.
Once you have visited all the outcrops, you will be able to complete the quest. Note that your Palico should collect some for you, if it has gathering skills equipped.
How to grow awegita
There are a couple of ways to increase the amount of Awegita you collect on each expedition. The first is to equip level 3 of the Geologist skill. This is done through Decorations. This will increase the number of times you can farm each outcrop. The other method is to carry a gathering-type Palico with you. Head to the Buddy Board to equip a suitable Palico.
Rocktail Lizards will also drop awegite, although they are much harder to find and therefore not worth prioritizing. Just keep an eye out as you explore!

Uses of awegite
Awegite is used in several forging recipes, most notably in the Kamura Legacy set. It also sells for 1200, so it’s a very good way to earn zenny while exploring the Sanctuary Ruins.
