Witcher 3’s Serpentine Swords are the first foray into the world of proper Witcher gear you’ll experience.
Both fine swords can be crafted once you’ve found the diagrams inside White Orchard, and finding one will lead you to the other. That said, we’ve included the locations of both just to be safe.

The Witcher 3 has a wide range of different armor sets to use. While many of these can simply be found around the world, the most powerful items must be created using diagrams that you can find in the world.
The best armors are usually Witcher School gear, each of which has a quest line associated with it. While you can always follow the quests themselves, you can also just go and pick up the diagrams anyway.

How to get the Serpentine Steel Sword
The first of the two can be found inside some ruins that have been taken over by bandits. It’s just west of the Ransacked Village marker and you’ll have to climb a broken pillar to reach the camp. Once there, kill the bandits and find the diagram inside a chest.
To make it, you need:
1 Poison Extract 2 Iron Ingot 1 Leather Straps 1 Emerald Powder

How to get the Serpentine Silver Sword
This one requires a little more work. You can find it inside a kind of crypt that is guarded by a specter. If you try to fight the beast in front of the crypt, then it simply won’t die, so run inside and then finish it off there. You’ll find the diagram on a skeleton near a vine-covered wall.
To make it, you need:
1 Poison Extract 2 Silver Ingot 1 Leather Straps 1 Emerald Powder
