Riogok Shrine location in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Riogok Shrine can be found in Hyrule Field, towards the southwest of downtown Hyrule. It’s about halfway through the Gerudo section of the map, a bit south of the Outskirt Stable. Its precise coordinates are (-1441, -1615, 0089).

It is a bit hidden in a small valley between two cliffs. Head west from Hopper Pond on the map and continue past the thick trees and the two rocks that partially obscure the entrance to this small alley.

Riogok Shrine puzzle solution in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

At Riogok Shrine, you will need to solve three Transference of Force puzzles in total, as well as collect the chest.

Riogok Shrine Puzzle Solution 1

Upon entering the shrine, you will see two large gears, one of which is behind a fence. Hit the glass on the right to spin the gear on the right.

Then, use Ultrahand to lift the pillar here and place it lengthwise between the two smaller parts of the gear above the door. The pillar must push the left gear to make them both rotate. This will open the door.

In the next room, use Ultrahand to connect the pillar on the floor to the broken lever on the right wall. Make sure the pillar is securely attached to the end and aligns in rotation, because you will need to move the stick all the way to the left and a misaligned pillar can block this.

Once you’ve used the lever, the door will open, revealing another pillar. Take out this pillar and then remove the first pillar from the lever handle. (Do this in this order, as removing the pillar may cause the door to close again.) This completes the second part of the puzzle where you can now find the Riogok Shrine chest.

If you’re looking at the door, to the left, once you have the two pillars, connect them to make one long pillar and use it to hook the chest from where it’s high up on the wall.

The camera can make this tricky, so keep an eye out for the “Attach” message at the bottom of the screen if necessary.

Once you have the chest, open it to receive a Strong Build Bow.

Riogok Shrine Puzzle Solution 3

Now turn to look at the puzzle on the wall opposite the door in this room. On the left is the equipment from the first puzzle, and on the right is a longer lower platform and a smaller upper platform.

Disconnect the two pillars in this room if you haven’t already. Place one on the gear so that as the gear rotates it pushes up on the bottom platform.

Then, place the second pillar vertically below the smaller platform, so that when the lower platform is raised, this pillar also pushes the smaller platform up.

Use Ascend to go up to the lower platform, then use it again to go up to the higher platform. When the gear turns, jump to the final area where you will receive the Blessing Light.
