Regice, Regirock, and Registeel may be trapped in Pokémon Go as part of the Pokémon Go Tour: Hoenn event currently taking place around the world.
The Pokémon Go Tour: Hoenn event celebrates the Gen 3 Pokémon that make their home in the Hoenn region.
For a chance to catch these legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Go, you’ll need three codes, which were originally hidden in Las Vegas for trainers to find. Here’s what they are and the research steps you’ll need to complete.

Pokémon Go Regice, Regirock and Registeel Go Tour: Hoenn codes
Three codes were hidden in Las Vegas as part of the ongoing Pokémon Go Tour: Hoenn event. These codes can be used to activate limited one-time research tasks. Please note that to redeem codes in Pokémon Go, you will need to visit the Niantic website.
Without further ado, here are the three codes:
- Regice: YKG5ZPC4SLXAX
- Registration: 6X4H9UCA8F7TT
- Log steel: 6AKRAV5WJN5FS
Once you have redeemed a code, a timed research task will appear. You will need to complete the steps listed for a chance to capture each Legendary Pokémon.
Pokémon Go Regice, Registeel, and Regirock Timed Research Tasks
Fortunately, all three Pokémon encounters are unlocked by completing the same research steps within their respective research task centers.
You’ll need to do the following to unlock a catch encounter for each Pokémon:
You’ll earn some Stardust and XP for completing each of these steps. Once you’ve done both, you’ll receive a Golden Razz Berry and a Pokémon encounter.
The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! Its first event is A Paldean Adventure, which sees the true launch of Gen 9 and the special research mission A Paldean Adventure. You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.
When do Pokémon Go’s Regice, Registeel, and Regirock timed research tasks end?
You will only have a limited amount of time to complete these tasks. They will expire at the end of the Pokémon Go Tour: Hoenn event, at 6 pm (local time) on Sunday, February 26, 2023.
