What to expect in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2
Over the past 48 hours, we’ve received several official tweets about what’s coming in the new season, but there are still some items and features suspected to be coming to Chapter 4 Season 2 that have yet to be confirmed by Epic Games.
thanks to @ShiinaBR and @HYPEX for helpful tips and previews of items that may be on the way.
Tracks and live trailers
Epic Games has been going all out with teasers and hints on social media today. They released a new intro trailer for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, which again confirms the Neo-Tokyo map theme and some of the Battle Pass skins. Now we also know that this season is called Fortnite Mega.
As the current season begins to come to a close, something new has appeared on the map. A red rift has appeared on the map above the destroyed rift gate near The Citadel.
Theme/Scenario
With the recent Tweet from @FortniteGame, it looks like the next season of Fortnite’s map will have a futuristic/Neo-Tokyo theme, which is a huge contrast to the current map which is full of forts, turrets, and large green areas.
Additionally, the trailer confirms that Grind Rails will be a part of this map, giving you another way to traverse the terrain to eliminate the competition.
In addition to the new theme, we expect to see the return of Lucky Landing, the appearance of a new Neo-Tokyo POI, and the appearance of ‘Futuristic Motorcycles’ scattered throughout the map.
Attack on Titan
A recent tweet from @FortniteGame confirmed that Attack on Titan is coming to Chapter 4, Season 2. The image attached to the post also appears to confirm reports that the new map will have a Neo-Tokyo theme.
Fans of the popular anime may be happy to know that Eren Yeager is expected to be the secret skin in Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass. There are reports that there is a new mythical weapon that is also based on the waist fighter from Eren.

With the Resident Evil 4 remake coming out at the end of March, we’re sure this leak will definitely happen.
Star Wars
It looks like Star Wars might be ready to do another collaboration with Fortnite. This time, it looks like you can not only pick up a lightsaber to become a champion, but you can also use the Force.
There are also reports that there are a minimum of two new Star Wars themed skins that will be added at the start of the season or when the Star Wars collaboration goes live.
New skins
In addition to Eren Yeager being the secret skin for the Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass, five new skins may also be included in the pass. It’s unclear at the moment whether they’ll be in the item shop or part of the BP, but a new Drift Skin and a new Lizard Skin may also be on the way.

New Boosts and Resets
According to @HYPEX, Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2 will bring some new and quite useful augments.
It is said that legendary boosts can reset you when you die, which could be very useful at any point in the game, increasing your maximum shield and even giving you a siphon.
As with everything so far, nothing official has been said yet about Season 2 from Epic Games.
New Weapons/Returning Weapons
With a new season comes the possibility of new weapons, and so far we are waiting to see:
- katanas
- new swords
- New gun
- New shotgun
- New peak
There are rumors that Pump Shotgun will return to all modes once the new season begins.
The Red-Eye Assault Rifle is one of our picks for the best Fortnite weapons, so we’re quietly hoping this weapon sticks around.
New mode
Last but not least, there has been a recent rumor that there is a brand new mode heading to Fortnite. It looks like the long-awaited first-person mode might not be far away, as @ShiinaBR and @HYPEX indicated in recent tweets.
That’s everything we know so far about the next season of Fortnite. We will update this page once we know more.
