Pokemon Go habitat rotation schedule and every habitat Pokémon for Go Fest 2020

Pokemon Go habitat rotation schedule and every habitat Pokémon for Go Fest 2020

The rotating habitats are part of the celebrations on the first day, Saturday, July 25, of Go Fest 2020 in Pokémon Go.

There are five habitats in total (Fire, Water, Grass, Battle, and Friendship) and each has a set of special Pokémon that will appear when a specific habitat is active.

Each hour on the first day of Go Fest 2020 has been assigned a habitat, meaning each habitat appears twice throughout the day.

In this page:

Rotating habitat schedules explained for Pokémon Go Fest 2020

During the first day of Go Fest 2020 in Pokémon Go, you will be able to take advantage of the five rotating habitats: fire, water, grass, battle, and friendship.

When each habitat is active, you will be able to find a special set of Pokémon that are themed to that specific habitat. During the fire habitat, for example, you will encounter more fire-type Pokémon.

Each habitat lasts one hour and will occur twice throughout the day, meaning each habitat will be available for a total of two hours.

Below you can find exactly when, based on local time, each habitat will appear during the first day, Saturday, July 25, of Go Fest 2020:

  • 10am to 11am (local time) – Battle
  • 11 am to 12 pm (local time) – Friendship
  • 12:00 to 13:00 (local time) – Fire
  • 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (local time) – Water
  • 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (local time) – Grass
  • 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm (local time) – Battle
  • 16:00 to 17:00 (local time) – Friendship
  • 5pm to 6pm (local time) – Fire
  • 6pm to 7pm (local time) – Water
  • 7pm to 8pm (local time) – Grass

Don’t forget to use Incense during your favorite habitat time, as it will increase the spawn rate even more and help you find those rarer Pokémon.

Additionally, each habitat has its own Global Challenge reward that will expire when the next habitat arrives, so be sure to take advantage of it!

Finally, regardless of the schedule (and during the second day, which sees the arrival of the Rocket Straight to Victory mission), there are other spawns that are not habitat-specific, including the Unown letters G and O. Ticket holders: be sure to use incense to make them appear!

Ticket holders should definitely make sure to grab a Rotom before Go Fest 2020 ends!
