Amulet Coin Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

The Amulet Coin doubles the amount of prize money you get for defeating any Trainer in Paldea, including Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and the Ultimate Champion. Therefore, it is best to purchase this useful item at the beginning of your trip!

Since the Amulet Coin is classified as a held item, you’ll need to give it to one of your Pokémon, then remember to have that Pokémon join the battle at least once to get double the cash prize for defeating a trainer.

To get the Amulet Coin in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must defeat five trainers in the Western Province location (Area Three) and then speak to the League Representative in the beautiful suit next to the eastern Pokémon Center in Medali. He will then give you the Amulet Coin as a reward.

You’ll want your Pokémon lineup to be around 30 to take on these trainers.

There are plenty of trainers you can take on in the area, but here are five trainer locations near Medali to save you some time:

Western Province (Area Three) Trainer Location 1

Western Province (Area Three) Trainer Location 2

Western Province (Area Three) Trainer Location 3

Western Province (Area Three) Trainer Location 4

Western Province (Area Three) Trainer Location 5

Once you’ve defeated five trainers in the Western Province (Area 3), fly back to the League Representative in the eastern Medali Pokémon Center to obtain the Amulet Coin in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Remember, the Amulet Coin is classified as a held item, so give it to one of your Pokémon and remember to have that Pokémon join the battle at least once to get double the cash prize for defeating trainers.

Easy method to farm money in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

In addition to getting the Amulet Coin early to double your earnings by defeating trainers, there is a faster money collection method in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Thanks to Arekkz Gaming on YouTube for detailing this method, the easiest way to raise money in Scarlet and Violet is to collect and sell the shiny items found in the muddy ruins of the Eastern Province (Area Three) or in the sand dunes of Roast. Desert in the Western Province (Area Two).

Go to the Asado Desert or the Eastern Province Ruins (Area Three) to farm items to sell.

Ideally, you’re looking for Stardust, Rare Bones, Smooth Rock, Heat Rock, and Damp Rock; the rocks only appear in the Eastern province (Area Three) of these two locations, as far as we know.

It’s also worth selling evolution items like Thunder Stones, Fire Stones, and Moon Stones if you no longer need them.

When using the farming method to find items, look for the shiny areas on the ground. We like to farm the ruins more than the desert, as flashes are easier to distinguish and you get soft, warm, moist rock here. However, the desert is easier to navigate since it is just a long strip of sand.

If you have Pokémon in your party with the ‘Pickup’ ability, such as Meowth or Phanpy, take them with you while you farm these areas. From time to time, everyone will give you more items and the higher their level, the better items they will find for you.

When you’re done farming, return to a Pokémon Center and talk to the person dressed in blue to sell your loot.
