How to get Mike and Sully in Disney Dreamlight Valley

If you want to invite Mike and Sully to your village in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must first complete the Escape Claws quest followed by Eye on the Prize. Once you have completed this first mission, speaking to Mike will start Eye on the Prize.

Please note that you need 15,000 Dreamlight to unlock Monsters Inc. Realm and have downloaded The Laugh Floor update released on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Fortunately, this is a free update.

Watch out for the prize tutorial for Disney Dreamlight Valley

Your first step in the Eye on the Prize quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley is to check the front desk for a set of key cards. The problem, however, is that the door to the reception area is stuck. To fix it, you need to collect the MIFT Toolkit, which can be found in the red cabinet in the upper left corner of the Laugh Floor. You’ve actually visited this cabinet before during Escape Claws – it’s the one next to the TV where you found a fuse!

With tool kit in hand, it’s time to head back to the front desk to fix that pesky door. Luckily, all you have to do is interact with the door, use the MIFT toolkit and it will open! Go to the main reception where you will find the key cards on the desk.

Bring the key cards to Mike and you will now be tasked with investigating a child’s room to find clues as to what will make them laugh… (Okay, I haven’t seen this movie, so I’ll assume it’s relevant.) (Though that doesn’t stop it from being strange.)

First go through the red door and look at the following objects to create the child’s file:

  • The elephant drawing next to the bed.
  • The clown approaching Simba’s lamp.
  • Open the closed curtain to find a picture of a ringmaster’s hat.

Once you have collected these clues, return to Mike and tell him what you have learned. Now it’s time to go to the next children’s bedroom to find more clues. (Yes, it still feels weird.)

This time you need to take pictures of the clues in the bedroom, so be sure to photograph:

  • The Astrojet poster.
  • The book on the floor next to the bookshelf.
  • The star lights up on the ceiling.

With those photos taken, it’s time to talk to Mike once again. One room left. Thankfully…

Mike wants you to bring him a physical clue to this third and final room, but it’s a disaster. He removes (and by this I mean seal) all the piled up clothes until the clue is revealed. Pick it up and talk to Mike once more.

How to get red soda, blue soda and green soda

Now you must bring Mike a red soda, a blue soda, and a green soda in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The downside is that he’s only given you two tokens for the vending machines, so it’s time to get creative.

Red and Blue Soda vending machines are located next to the coffee machine in the reception area. The Red Soda machine is on, so exchange a token for a Red Soda. The blue soda machine, however, is not, but you can turn it on by turning the blue switch to the right. Once this is done, simply exchange a token for a blue soda.

Now the green soda is where things get complicated, because we’re out of chips and it’s out of order. His glass is already broken, so it wouldn’t hurt to hit him with your pickaxe, right? (Won’t do it: break that machine to get your green soda.) Now you can bring the three sodas to Mike and watch him work.

With this done, you can now place Mike and Sully’s apartment in your valley. Mike and Sully’s apartment doesn’t take up as much space as the previous characters’ houses, but it will still cost 20,000 coins to build. Once the apartment is built, Sully will reach its valley.

There is one last step to complete for Mike to move to the valley, so it’s time to return to the Kingdom of Monsters Inc. Once there, he will ask you to take a selfie with him and after doing so, you will talk to him again. This will make Mike move to your valley and now you will simply have to chat with him one last time to finish Eye on the Prize.

Congratulations: Mike and Sully now live in your valley!
