Escape Claws is the first Monsters Inc. themed mission to be added to Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Completing Escape Claws unlocks the Eye on the Prize Realm quest, which in turn allows you to move Mike and Sully to your Disney Dreamlight Valley village.

How to Start Escape Claws in Disney Dreamlight Valley
If you want Mike and Sully to live in your village in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must first complete the Escape Claws quest followed by Eye on the Prize. However, you must first spend 15,000 Dreamlight to unlock the Monsters Inc. kingdom in the castle. From this moment on, you can visit the kingdom whenever you want.

Make sure you have downloaded The Laugh Floor update released on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, or else you will not be able to access Monsters Inc. Realm at all.
Escape Claws Walkthrough for Disney Dreamlight Valley
Your first step in Escape Claws in Disney Dreamlight Valley is to investigate the Laugh Floor door. It turns out that you will have to dress up as a monster if you want to enter this floor. To do this, open the storage to the left of where you enter the kingdom.

Opening the bag of clothes you find inside will unlock the Monsters Inc. helmet and two sets of Monsters Ears. Next, open your wardrobe to put on one of the Monster Ears and the Hard Hat; You can also experiment with the Fantasy Skin Tones and Contact Lens added in The Laugh Floor update if you wish. Be sure to take a selfie when you’re happy with your costume! (No, seriously, this is part of the mission.)
Now it’s time to head to the Laugh Floor so you can talk to Sully. He will ask you to remove eight pieces of Party Trash and clean four puddles of Slug Slime, which you can do using your watering can. All of these can be found on the Laugh Floor, so run around until you have them all. When everything is nice and tidy, talk to Sully again.

Coffee ingredients
It’s time to perform the classic internal task: making coffee! Return to the reception area where you’ll find the coffee machine, ingredients, and a handy sticky note detailing what you’ll need for both coffee orders. Still, to help you out, we have listed the ingredients below:
- Sully’s Coffee Ingredients – 5 coffees
- Mike’s Coffee Ingredients: 1 Coffee, 3 Sugar, 1 Non-Dairy Scream
Grab the ingredients from the counter and then use the machine to prepare both coffees. Once the drinks are prepared, hand them both to Mike.

Location of the emergency manual
Well, that certainly didn’t go as planned, which means it’s time to find the Emergency Manual in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Fortunately, you don’t have to look far, as you can find it on the second desk from the Laugh Floor entrance. Once you have it, go talk to Sully.

Fuse Locations
Now we need to get the power flowing again in Laugh Floor. To achieve this, you must find and replace broken fuses, as well as repair power lines.
Let’s start with the fuse locations:
- On a red cabinet in the upper left corner of the floor, next to the television.
- On the desk closest to the door leading to the Laugh Floor.
- On the penultimate desk on the Laugh Floor.

After finding the three fuses, return to the fuse box and place them inside one at a time.
How to fix power lines
Fortunately, repairing power lines is much easier. All you need to do is follow the power lines to their conclusion, reconnecting them and moving cars out of your way as you go. It is necessary to move some of the cars back and forth to reach all the power lines. Don’t forget to put the plugs back into their sockets either!

With the power back on, Mike will be able to return from the human world. Now all you have to do is talk to Sully once more to complete Escape Claws. However, this does not allow you to invite Mike and Sully to your village. To do so, you will first have to complete Eye on the Prize.
