Honkai Star Rail PS5 UK Release Date and Time, BST, CDT, EDT and PDT
Honkai Star Rail on PS5 will be released on Wednesday, October 11. It follows the game’s usual maintenance schedule and launches at 4am (BST), but due to time zone differences, Star Rail on PS5 launches in the US on Tuesday, October 10 at 11pm (EDT).
For other time zones, the Honkai Star Rail PS5 release date and time is:
- US West Coast: Tuesday, October 10, 8 pm (PDT)
- Central US: Tuesday, October 10, 10 pm (CDT)
- US East Coast: Tuesday, October 10, 11 pm (EDT)
- UK: Wednesday 11 October, 4am (BST)
- Europe: Wednesday, October 11, 5:00 a.m. (CEST)
- Japan: Wednesday, October 11, 12 pm (JST)
- Australia: Wednesday 11 October, 2pm (AET)
As this is just an approximate time of how long the servers are down preparing for version 1.4, you may be able to play Star Rail on PS5 a little earlier or later than the times above, but based on HoYoverse history, the times they provide They are almost always accurate.

How to preload Honkai Star Rail on PS5
Star Rail patch preloading is usually free, but you actually have to purchase a “pre-order” pack to preload Honkai: Star Rail on PS5. However, we wouldn’t recommend purchasing this bundle as it’s surprisingly poor value for the £9.49 it sells for.

However, if you really want to pre-download Star Rail on PS5, you can go to the store on your PS5 console or the PlayStation website and search for “Honkai Star Rail” and then click the “Pre-Order” button. Once you’ve completed your purchase, you’ll be able to preload the game on your PS5.
Remember, this is only for purchasing the pre-order package that includes the preload, as Honkai: Star Rail is a free download when it launches on PS5.

How Honkai Star Rail PS5 cross-save works
If you want to continue saving Star Rail for PC or mobile on PS5, you’ll simply need to log into your HoYoverse account on the PlayStation version of Star Rail when it launches. If this doesn’t work right away, you may also need to link your PlayStation account to your HoYoverse account. You can do this on the official HoYoverse website.
Just keep in mind that this has to be the account you currently play Star Rail with, so it’s worth checking your in-game login details and your connected accounts on the official HoYoverse website if you have more than an account in use. . Make sure you also select the same server on all platforms, as you can only continue saving Star Rail if you are playing on the same server.
If you later want to save a PS5 file to your mobile or PC, simply log in to the same HoYoverse you are using on PS5.
