Destiny 2 Bungie 30th Anniversary Event Release Time Explained in GMT (UK), CET, EST, and PST: When is Bungie’s 30th Anniversary Event in Destiny 2?
The Destiny 2 Bungie 30th Anniversary event will take place on Tuesday, December 7, and will begin at the usual reset time:
- United Kingdom: 18:00 hours (GMT)
- Europe: 7:00 p.m. (CEST)
- US East Coast: 1 pm (EST)
- US West Coast: 10am (PST)
As usual, expect the possibility of running into a queue once you log in, as well as a slow download of the patch due to the swarm of players logging in at the same time.

Bungie’s 30th Anniversary event in Destiny 2 celebrates the past three decades with plenty of new experiences and memories that longtime fans will immediately recognize.
Although we don’t know the details of the event yet, Bungie has shared what to expect in general terms. Below we detail what we know so far:
- One of the biggest features is a free 6-player matched activity, which will include plenty of rewards and secrets to discover as usual. The rewards, according to Bungie, commemorate the developer’s “long and storied history,” giving a hint of what to expect.
- A new dungeon is also present, inspired by the loot caves of the Cosmodrome. Here you can earn the new Thorn armor set while searching for lost relics.
- Remember Gjallarhorn, the exotic rocket launcher from Destiny 1? Well, the weapon will return during Bungie’s 30th anniversary event.
- Also, expect more weapons, armor, ornaments, emotes, sparrows, ghost shells, and tons more.
- Speaking of ornaments, the Marathon-inspired ornament set, as well as the 30th Anniversary streetwear-inspired ornament set, will debut during the event, in case you’re looking for a new look.
