Sunshine Form Cherrim 100% Perfect IV Stats in Pokémon Go
This week’s Featured Hour is a good opportunity to catch a Sunshine Form Cherrim with perfect IV stats.

While Cherrim doesn’t have much weight in any of the major Go Battle leagues, no matter what form it takes, capturing one with 100% IV stats can be useful if you plan to participate in one of the special cups.
The CP values that correspond to the perfect 15/15/15 for Sunshine Form Cherrim are as follows:
- Level 30 (Max Wild CP) – 1755 CP
- Level 35 (maximum CP boosted by weather) – 1901 CP
The above stats are the same for Cherrim’s Sunshine and Overcast forms.
Wild CP values align with your trainer level until you reach level 30, and because the majority of the player base is now above this level, we’ve kept these values for simplicity’s sake. However, these values will be different if you are currently below level 30.
Is there a shiny Cherrim in Pokémon Go?

There is a shiny Cherrim in Pokémon Go. However, outside of these hours of operation, the form Cherrim takes (cloudy or sunny) depends on the weather it is currently experiencing.
Shiny Cherrim, along with Shiny Cherubi, were released as part of Sustainability Week 2022, meaning that, as of this writing, it is one of the most recent shiny Pokémon added to the game.
If you have caught a Shiny Cherubi, you can use 50 Cherubi Sweets to turn it into a Shiny Cherrim.
Remember: Care Hours only increase the number of Cherrim that appear in the wild, not their shine rate. This means that, unlike Community Day, Cherrim’s shiny rate will not increase during the event.
The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! The Out to Play event is currently taking place. You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.
What does bright Sunshine Form Cherrim look like?
As you can see, while the shiny Cherubi and shiny Cherrim Overcast Form look quite different from their traditional colors, the shiny Cherrim Sunshine Form is eerily similar to its traditional form. The yellow is a little lighter, as is the pink, but there’s really not much difference, right?

Other reasons to catch as many Sunshine Form Cherrim as possible
In addition to the chance to catch a glowing sun-shaped Cherrim in Pokémon Go, there are several other reasons to participate in this week’s Spotlight:
- This week’s bonus is double XP per catch, meaning it’s the perfect time to gather as much XP as possible. It could even be the XP you need to reach the next level.
- If you haven’t had the chance to catch a Sunshine Form Cherrim, then this Spotlight Hour is the perfect opportunity to add one to your collection.
- Since Cherrim is a Grass-type Pokémon, catching it will add progress to your Grass-type medal.
Each Spotlight Hour only lasts one hour, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm (local time), but don’t worry if you can’t participate in this week’s event. As of this writing, we’re still waiting to find out which Pokémon will be in the spotlight in May.
