How to get the level 1 keycard in Resident Evil 4

The level 1 key card is required to access the freezer and to obtain it you must first transfer power to the dissection side of the area using the power control lever in the southeast corner.

Walk to Dissection and then complete the calibration puzzle to restore power to the door. You can then go inside to pick up the Level 1 key card in the back and read some files on Regenerators (now correctly translated as ‘Regenerators’).

Just keep in mind that your first encounter with the Regenerator will activate as soon as you pick up the key card. We suggest running away from the monster until you get the Biosensor Scope.

How to get the level 2 keycard in Resident Evil 4

Now that you have the level 1 keycard, you can upgrade it to level 2. To start this process, return to the power control lever in the southeast corner and switch the power back to the freezer side of the area.

You can now use your level 1 key card to open the freezer door.

Go to the Overwrite Terminal at the back of the freezer and insert your key card to get the level 2 key card. Another Regenerator will appear when you do this, and we suggest running away from it until the card is ready in the terminal instead of trying to fight it.

You can also solve the Freezer calibration puzzle without fear of being hurt by the Regenerator if you want to get the LE 5 submachine gun.

Our Resident Evil 4 walkthrough can help you through the village with guides on the Big and Little Cave Shrine puzzle solutions, the Church dial puzzle, and the Del Lago, El Gigante, and Mendez bosses. When you reach the castle, you’ll need to tackle the correct timing puzzles of the Treasure Sword, the Four Slotted Wall, the Dining Room Bell, and the Grandfather Clock, along with the Garrador Dungeon, Two Giants, and Ramon Salazar’s bosses. The island is next, and there are still puzzles with calibration puzzles, keycard locations, and a hidden wrench, along with final bosses Krauser and Sadler.

How to get the level 3 key card in Resident Evil 4

This is the most complicated access card to get, as there are a few more steps involved.

Take your Level 2 keycard to the locked door in the southern area to access the corridor leading to the incubation lab.

The Regenerators shouldn’t follow you past the second door, but there are normal enemies waiting for you at the bottom of the stairs and in the laboratory itself.

Once you’ve dealt with the enemies and looted the area for resources, go to the back of the lab (ignoring the Overwrite Terminal for now) and pick up the biosensor scope.

To obtain the level 3 keycard in Resident Evil 4, you must use the biosensor scope to search inside the regenerators in the incubation lab tubes for the key needed to open the box in the overwrite terminal. Our key was in the Regenerator in the northwest corner of the room.

To get the wrench out of the Regenerator, you must kill him by destroying all the parasites inside his body, which you can see using the Biosensor Scope.

Once she’s dead, the key will drop as loot and you can use it at the Overwrite Terminal to finally get the level 3 keycard, but be careful after inserting the keycard as it takes a while to process it and the room. It will be full of enemies. .

Run around the lab in circles while waiting for the card, then pick up the Level 3 keycard when it’s ready and take it to the southwest exit of the lab, back to Facility 1 Storage, where you can finally free Ashley.
