Warzone best Whitley loadout: Whitley class setup and how to unlock the Whitley in Warzone

Create the perfect Warzone Whitley loadout with our class build recommendation.

The Whitley is a light machine gun that debuted in Season 2 of Call of Duty: Vanguard.

While it’s not a terrible addition to the game, considering how clunky it is and how other assault rifles and light machine guns have better overall stats, it’s hard to recommend the Whitley.

However, you can get away with using this weapon, especially on Rebirth Island. If you are a skilled player, you will have a much easier time with the Whitley.

This page will cover how to unlock Whitley as quickly as possible, the best Whitley gear, and Whitley class recommendations to make it even better.

How to unlock Whitley in Warzone

To unlock Whitley in Warzone, simply level up the Battle Pass to level 31.

You do not need to purchase anything to gain access to this weapon. To level up quickly, we recommend completing contracts in Warzone as much as possible so that you can activate a multiplier.

Also, make use of XP tokens if you have them!

The best Warzone gear and accessories Whitley

Here’s our recommended Whitley build, along with the levels needed to unlock each attachment:

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer (unlocks at level 57)
  • Cannon: Gracey Mk. 9 28″ (unlocked at level 10)
  • Optics: G16 2.5x (Unlocked at level 20)
  • Stock: CGC R4 (unlocks at level 39)
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop (unlocked at level 55)
  • Magazine: None
  • Ammo Type: Elongated (unlocked at level 26)
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip (unlocked at level 63)
  • Perk 1: Hardscope (unlocks at level 20)
  • Perk 2: Fully Charged (unlocks at level 39)

Starting with the MX Silencer muzzle, you’ll want to use this accessory to stay suppressed while improving your accuracy.

Next, opt for the Gracey Mk. 9 28″ for improved recoil control, accuracy, reduced scope sway and better recoil resistance.

We recommend choosing an optic you are comfortable with, but it’s hard to go wrong with the G16 2.5x as it is a long range version.

After that, equip the CGC R4 stock to improve recoil control, accuracy, recoil recovery, and movement speed, all of which are ideal for long-range engagements.

To preserve recoil control, use the M1941 Hand Stop lower barrel. This also improves your overall accuracy, which will help you stay on target.

For this version, we recommend omitting the charger type, as they all have disadvantages that you should avoid. Some reduce bullet velocity, others hurt overall ammo capacity, and one ruins recoil control.

If you have to use a magazine, we recommend the .30-06 120 round boxes, but ultimately you’ll be better off without it.

For all long range configurations, we recommend using the elongated ammunition type to improve bullet velocity.

From there, it is recommended to use the Polymer Grip rear grip for greater recoil control during sustained fire.

Continue with Hardscope perk 1, which increases accuracy and recoil control during sustained ADS engagements.

Finally, be sure to use the 2 Fully Charged perk to get maximum starting ammo. The other options are not too useful with this particular version.

Warzone Season 5 is almost here! If you want to know more about the firepower of the above, we explain the best Welgun load, the best Cooper Carbine load, the best Gorenko anti-tank rifle load, the best STG44 load, the best MP40 load, the best automaton loadout, best BAR loadout, best combat shotgun loadout, best Type 100 loadout and best Kar98k loadouts.

Best Warzone Whitley Class Build, Perks, and Gear

Here are the recommended equipment and perks to make the best Whitley class build in Warzone:

  • Perk 1: Quick Fix (unlocks at level 42)
  • Perk 2: Ghost (unlocks at level 24)
  • Perk 3: Combat Scout (unlocks at level 1)
  • Secondary: M1 Bazooka (unlocked at level 11)
  • Lethal: Molotov Cocktail (unlocks at level 10)
  • Tactical: Stun Grenades (unlocked at level 1)

For almost all builds, including this one, we recommend going with Quick Fix, which immediately begins health regeneration after securing a kill.

If you’re playing Rebirth Island or a regular Battle Royale, we recommend equipping the Ghost perk so you won’t be detected by UAVs or heartbeat sensors. Otherwise, we recommend High Alert.

Since you will be spraying players from afar with Whitley, we recommend using the Combat Stout perk. This live pings an enemy you’ve damaged so you can easily shoot them through walls.

There’s plenty of room to experiment with equipment, but Molotov cocktails are usually better as they deal splash damage over time.

Stun grenades are also great for giving you an advantage during certain firefights. If you are on Rebirth Island, you can also use the heartbeat sensor.
