Warzone best Type 100 loadout: Type 100 class setup and how to unlock the Type 100 in Warzone

Build the perfect Warzone Type 100 loadout with our class build recommendation.

The Type 100 is an SMG that debuted in the Call of Duty: Vanguard launch lineup and is one of the best options in the weapon category that you can find in Warzone.

While assault rifles are always part of the best Vanguard weapons, SMGs tend to be the second popular choice. For some players, and depending on the mode you are playing, an SMG is more than enough to take on the enemy team, and this option tops the list with the right accessories.

This page will cover how to unlock the Type 100 in the fastest way possible and the best equipment and class recommendations for the Type 100 to further enhance its capabilities.

How to unlock the Type 100 in Warzone

The task of getting the Type 100 is quite simple and does not involve any challenge.

To unlock the Type 100, you must reach player level 39, which can be done easily if you are patient enough.

For this, we recommend any multiplayer mode, from Team Deathmatch playlists to Zombies, it’s up to you. If you have XP boosts, be sure to use them to get the most out of each match.

The best Warzone Type 100 equipment and accessories

Below are our recommendations for optimal equipment of the Type 100, as well as the corresponding levels for each:

  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Cannon: Shiraishi 374 mm.
  • Optics: Slate Reflector (unlocked at level 8)
  • Stock: Skeleton Warubachi
  • Under the barrel: M1941 manual stop
  • Magazine: Kurz 40 8mm round drums
  • Ammo Type: Elongated (unlocked at level 62)
  • Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip
  • Proficiency: Sleight of Hand (unlocked at level 32)
  • Kit: Fully charged (unlocks at level 42)

Let’s start with the snout. You’ll want to equip the F8 stabilizer for this one, which adds +2 accuracy and +1 damage range to the weapon. As a result, you’ll get -1 running speed and -1 hipfire accuracy, but they’re small disadvantages in comparison.

As for the barrel, we opted for the 374mm Shiraishi, which increases recoil control and accuracy, as well as adding reduced range and weapon tilt and improving recoil resistance. As a result, aiming down sights, movement, and sprint speed to fire are affected, but it’s worth including anyway.

As usual, optics are down to preference – we’ve found the Slate Reflector to be a complete option for this – but again, it’s up to you.

In the value space, we went with the Warubachi Skeletal. This adds +2 sprint speed to firing speed, as well as +1 movement speed. You will get -1 accuracy and initial recoil, but this is balanced.

The M1941 manual stop attachment is a great option in terms of the bottom of the barrel. Adds +1 to recoil control and +1 to accuracy, while only decreasing -1 to hipfire accuracy.

For the charger, we recommend equipping Kurz 40 8mm round drums. This will give you 30 rounds, as well as +2 bullet speed and +1 damage, +1 bullet penetration, and +1 magazine ammo capacity. It comes at the cost of -5 recoil control and accuracy, -3 aim down speed, -2 movement speed, and -2 fire speed, but it’s worth having.

Next, Lengthened is a great ammo type, as it adds +3 to bullet speed.

As for the rear grip, we will gain +1 in hip fire accuracy and +2 in recoil control thanks to the Pine Tar Grip. It has a -1 cost to ADS speed, but it is a minor disadvantage.

When it comes to proficiency for this build, Sleight of Hand will help you with +1 to recharge speed.

Lastly, we chose Fully Loaded in the kit category, allowing you to start with maximum reserve ammo.

If you’re interested in multiplayer, we have lists of multiplayer operators and maps, as well as the best Vanguard weapons, including the best STG44 loadout, the best MP40 loadout, and the best Automaton loadout, the best BAR loadout, the best combat shotgun loadout, best Type 100 Loadout and best Kar98k loadouts. In other ways, we can explain the best zombie builds and the best pacts.

Best Warzone Type 100 Class Build, Perks, and Loadout

Here are our picks for the best items, like loadouts and perks, to create the best Type 100 class build in Warzone:

  • Perk 1: EOD (unlocks at level 1)
  • Perk 2: Overkill (unlocks at level 38)
  • Perk 3: Expanded (unlocks at level 1)
  • Secondary: STG44 (Unlocked upon reaching player level 1)
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor (unlocked at level 1)
  • Lethal: Claymore (unlocked at level 1)

For the STG44, we recommend going with EOD as it will help mitigate damage from fire and non-killing explosives.

We recommend going with Overkill as a second buff. This time we chose the STG44 as a secondary option. For anyone who suddenly appears far away from you, switching to this to better focus on long range is a must. But again, it’s your decision.

For the third perk, we opted for Amped over the others to ensure you can switch between the two weapons as quickly as possible.

Lastly, the heartbeat sensor is the perfect companion for preparing ahead of time or tracking down anyone who dares to escape your line of sight. However, in case someone manages to sneak near you, having a Claymore placed near you should provide help when needed.
