Zora Sidon quest starting location

To begin the Sidon of the Zora quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you need to head to the easternmost regional phenomenon on your map. We have marked its location below:

It is important to remember that you need to have completed the quest where you find Captain Hoz and have spoken to Purah at Lookout Landing in order for the regional phenomena to appear on your map before you leave.

We also highly recommend getting the paraglider before going on this mission, as there is a lot of air travel involved.

Once you are ready, head to the location of the regional phenomena and you will find yourself in Zora’s domain. The Mogawak Shrine is also here and is worth visiting to unlock a fast travel point. It will be useful.

Once you reach Zora’s Domain, cross the main bridge and you should see three Zoras chatting next to a statue covered in mud. Now you need to clean this statue.

How to complete the mud covered statue

To complete the mud covered statue quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you need to use water to rinse the mud off the statue.

Now, in and around Lanayru, there are many Splash fruit trees. You can also purchase some of these from the General Store to the right of the statue in Zora’s Domain if you need them. These fruits explode on impact and release water. We also found some next to Upland Zorana Skyview Tower if you get stuck.

Now, all you have to do to rinse off the mud is aim at the statue with a bow and press the up directional button to place a splattered fruit on your arrow. Once connected, shoot it at the statue to rinse off the sludge.

You can also use Fuse to place a Splash Fruit on top of a melee weapon, but arrows are an easier and faster method.

Once the mud has been removed from the statue, go and talk to the Green Zora at the Zora Trio next to the statue. They will then reveal that her name is Yona, where you can find Prince Sidon, and you will also complete this small part of the quest.

At this point, the Zora’s Sidon quest will unlock and begin.

Where to find Prince Sidon in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To find Prince Sidon in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you need to head to Mipha Court at the top of Ploymus Mountain.

Getting there can be a little tricky, but the route we took was relatively painless and you can do it even if Link has basic hearts and stamina. We start at Upland Zorana Skyview Tower and follow the route marked on the map below:

Once you start approaching Mipha Court, you will start to see Zora torches lining the path.

When you reach Mipha Court, you can find Prince Sidon in the middle of the fountain. Go and talk to him to find out what you need to do next and unlock the next segment of the Sidon of the Zora quest.

While you are in Mipha Court, we highly recommend that you visit the Ihen-a Shrine which can be found on the right side of where Sidon is located. This will unlock a fast travel point that you will use constantly throughout these missions.

This is just the beginning of your adventure with Prince Sidon, more adventures await you!
