How to get to Levincia in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

If you haven’t unlocked any Pokémon Centers near the city yet, the easiest way to get to Levincia in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is to take the main path east of Zapapico and then to the northern shore where Levincia resides.

However, you will have to clear the Team Star Fire Crew base or unlock an ability for Koraidon or Miraidon to reach Levincia.

If you’re getting lost, remember to set Levincia as a destination on your map to ensure it appears as a waypoint on your minimap.

Where to find Mr. Walksabouts in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet for the Levincia Gym test

For the Levincia Gym test, you must find Mr. Walksabouts (aka Director Clavell) three times by searching for him with the help of cameras. You’ll also have to battle a trainer after locating each Mr Walksabout location, so make sure all your Pokémon are healed and ready for battle!

Here’s where to find Mr Walksabout for the Levincia Gym trial:

You will find Director Clavell sitting next to the round table with an umbrella, to the right. Move the cursor to his position and press ‘A’ to officially find him and start the first trainer battle.

Here’s how to beat Coach Martí:

You will receive 3080 cash prizes for defeating Martí and will be able to move on to the next Mr Walksabout Hide-and-Seek challenge.

For Mr. Walsabout’s second hide-and-seek challenge, you’ll see a different camera perspective near a Pokémon Center. You will find Director Clavell inside the center itself.

Here’s how to beat Coach Michael:

Pokemon Level Guy Weaknesses
tinamo 22 Electric Floor
skinny 22 Electric Floor

You will receive 3080 cash prizes for defeating Michael and will be able to move on to the final Mr Walksabout Hide-and-Seek challenge.

For the final Mr Walksabout Hide-and-Seek challenge, you’ll switch to another camera, this time over the gym battleground. It’s a little trickier to find Director Clavell here, as the crowd seems smaller, but you can see him on the right, on a boat.

There will be no trainer battle afterwards, and now that you have completed the Mr Walksabout challenge you can return to the gym and challenge Iono.

How to beat the Electric Gym leader Iono in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Levincia Gym Leader Iono loves Electric-type Pokémon, and her team reflects that.

Electric-type Pokémon are weak to Ground-type Pokémon.

One of the best options to use is Paldean Wooper or its evolution, Clodsire. Paldean Wooper is a common Pokémon that can be found in southern Paldea, near ponds and wetlands, and it likes to sleep in the mud.

Its evolution, Clodsire, is rarer, but can be found in a few different areas around Paldea, including the south. They are also found near ponds and wetlands.

Remember, like all Gym Leaders, Iono will Terastalize his last Pokémon, so even if it isn’t an Electric type at first, it will become one.

Iono’s Pokémon team is:

Pokemon Level Guy Weaknesses
Wattrel 23 Electric / Flying Bug, Dark, Electric, Grass and Ghost
Bellibolt 23 Electric Electric and Grass
pike 23 Electric Electric and Grass
samegium 24 GhostTerra Type: Electric Dark and Ghost Terra Type: Ground

For defeating Iono, you will receive 4,320 cash prizes, TM048 Volt Switch, and a gym badge. Increasing the level cap so that Pokémon listen to you and are easier to catch will depend on where you are in the Victory Road story.

Also, depending on where you are in Victory Road, you may have a battle with Nemona after defeating Iono.

Who will you face next on Victory Road? Will it be Katy, Brassius, Kofu, Larry, Ryme, Tulip or Grusha? Or maybe you’re ready to fight the Elite Four and the ultimate champion! If you want to take a break from the gyms, you can always tackle the Path of Legends and Starfall Street stories.
