All Great Fairy Locations

Below you will find an overview map of the four Great Fairy locations in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom:

An overview map of the locations of the Great Fairies.

Below you will find detailed information on each of the Great Fairy locations, along with how to unlock each Great Fairy…

How to unlock the first Great Fairy Fountain

To find the first fountain, the Great Fairy Fountain of Tera, you will first need to head to the Lucky Clover Gazette building just east of Rito Village, which can be found on the map marker just below in the Hebra region of Hyrule. Once here, approach the two people inside, Penn and Traysi, and you will be on your way to finding the four fairies.

This is a very roundabout way to start your journey to unlocking the Great Fairies. Once you’ve spoken to both of them and seen Penn fly away, you’ll want to head to the Woodland Stable in the Eldin region of Hyrule, which can be found at the point on the map seen just below.

Once here, you’ll see Penn outside the stables, to the right of the entrance, watching two musicians perform. Talk to the party and you’ll begin the quest Serenade a Great Fairy, which requires you to simply use the Ultrahand skill to place two wheels on the broken cart nearby, making it work again.

Now take a horse out of the stables and, when you have the option, attach the towing harness to it. If you haven’t unlocked this feature yet, you can do so by simply collecting three points with a stable in Hyrule, which you can earn by visiting and sleeping in a stable for the first time.

Now you’ll want to attach your horse’s trailer harness to the cart using the Ultrahand skill, and now you can take the musicians to the Great Fairy Fountain, which is literally just down the road nearby in the direction the sign points. .

When the musicians play their music for the Great Fairy at the fountain, she will come back to life and come out to visit you. Once all this is done, you can upgrade your armor on this Great Fairy and then continue your journey to unlock the other Great Fairies around Hyrule.

How to unlock the Great Fairy Neclusa in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

This time, we head to the Dueling Peaks stable, which is located in the Necluda region of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Once here, approach the director and he will tell you about a missing member of the band, Beetz.

Once the ‘Serenade Cortera’ quest has started, you need to head down the path north of the stable and then turn the corner towards Kakariko Village. Head to the point marked below and you’ll find Beetz, who it turns out needs three honeycombs to get through his current strange activities.

Head a short distance north to Kakariko Village and you will find several bee nests in the forest surrounding the village. Take down three with a bow and then approach them, avoiding the angry bees, to collect Racer Bee Honey items, one from each nest you took down.

Now return to Beetz and give him the three Courser Bee Honey items, and he will return to meet the gang at the Dueling Peaks Stable. However, difficulties abound in the stable, as it now turns out that the group needs a raft to cross the lake to the south and reach the Great Fairy.

You can quickly get a raft by looking at nearby building materials and finding a long, flat piece of wood. Take this and put the broken carriage on it. Then put a steering device and a fan on the raft, and place everything in the water, signaling the company to come in.

Now simply drive your makeshift raft to the other side of the lake where the Great Fairy resides, and once the group’s musical performance is over, you will successfully unlock the Great Cortera Fairy.

How to unlock the Great Central Fairy of Hyrule in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To get this Great Fairy going, head to the Outskirts Stable in Central Hyrule, where you will once again find the group playing there. This time, however, they miss their piper, Pyper. To find it, you will have to go to the Highland Stable in the southern part of the Faron region.

Once here, look up at a nearby tree to see a flute player playing there. Approach him in the tree and he will reveal that he wants to get back in the gang, but first he needs 10 Sunset Fireflies so he can fulfill a duty to someone else before then.

Sleep in Highland Stable until night and then head north to Pagos Woods, where you’ll find a metric ton of fireflies. Use any stealth-enhancing food and crouch towards them, where you’ll be able to collect 10 of the Sunset Fireflies pretty quickly.

Return to Pyper and give her the Sunset Fireflies, then go find her friend Haite while it’s still night and have her follow you. He goes to the place where you first met Pyper and he will play a beautiful tune, freeing you from his responsibilities to return to the Outskirt Stable.

However, when you return, the company master will reveal that they need a vehicle to get to the Great Fairy, so find the nearby Zonai car and attach the steering wheel and steering instrument to it. Then, put the band cart in your car and have them sit in it. Now you can take them to the Great Fairy and have them play her music to unlock her forever.

How to unlock the Great Hebra Fairy in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Musicians travel merrily and you too will want to head to the Hebra region in Tears of the Kingdom. Once in this region, head to the point on the map we’ve marked just below at the southern end of Hebra, which is where you’ll find an unfortunate trumpet player stuck in a hole in the ground, needing someone to lift him and his cart. outside.

You can do this by using Ultrahand to attach the nearby balloon and flame emitter to the musician’s car and then launch it into the air and out of the hole. Don’t worry if this takes you several tries; Unfortunately, this mission can be a bit complicated and annoying to do right.

Once out of the hole, the musician will thank you and leave, and you should now head to the Snowfield Stable in the Strand region of Hyrule. When you get here, you will find that the musician has reunited with the others you rescued earlier, but unfortunately his car is missing a roof.

All you need to do now is find a nearby wooden raft in the stables and attach it to the top of the cart using the Ultrahand. Now it’s the same deal as last time, where you have to get a horse in a trailer harness out of the stable, strap it to the cart, and then lead the band straight to the Great Fairy.

It’s actually the same deal as last time from this point on: once the musicians have played her music, she’ll be open to upgrading Link’s armor. If you’d like to learn more about Link’s quest, visit our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom walkthrough.
