Everything you need to know about the Pokémon Horizons event in Pokémon Go

In keeping with this anime set primarily in Paldea, Pokémon Horizons: Series Celebration event marks the release of Gen 9’s Charcadet, Armarouge, and Ceruledge in Pokémon Go. Shiny Charcadet is included in this build, and if you find one, you can turn it into Armarouge and Ceruledge.

Charcadet can only be found by hatching 2km, 5km, and 10km eggs collected during the Pokémon Horizons event. However, like Larvesta last year, the other Pokémon in these egg groups can still hatch from these eggs. (So you may have to incubate many times.)

Once the event ends, on Monday, March 11 at 8 pm (local time), Charcadet will join the 10km egg group.

A new costumed Pokémon, Cap’s Hat Pikachu, was also released for this event. It is inspired by Captain Pikachu, the Pikachu who helps pilot the Rising Volt Tacklers airship in the Pokémon Horizons anime. This Pokémon can be shiny and will know Volt Tackle, an Electrical Charge attack, just like Captain Pikachu!

Volt Tackle has the following power:

  • Trainer Battles: 90 power and decreases defense.
  • Gym Battles: 90 Power
