This event celebrates the release of Sandygast and Palossand in Pokémon Go. These haunted sandcastles come from Generation 7 and offer you the chance to get scared on the beach.

Water Festival Beach Week Field Research Tasks in Pokémon Go
During the Water Festival: Beach Week event, you can obtain event-exclusive Field Research tasks by spinning PokéStops in Pokémon Go. These tasks can be saved to your Field Research Collection and completed after the event ends, if desired.

Water Festival Beach Week Global Challenge in Pokémon Go
You can participate in a Global Challenge during Water Festival: Beach Week in Pokémon Go.
The goal of this challenge is for players around the world to reach the goal of having made 300 million Nice Throws.
If this goal is reached before the end of the event, for the remainder of the event, each trainer will receive additional candy for catching Pokémon using Good, Great, or Excellent Throws. Trainers level 31 or higher will also have a higher chance to earn Candy XL for catching Pokémon with good, great, or excellent throws.
The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! He has brought the Timed Investigation: Master Ball quest, which offers you the chance to win another Master Ball. There’s also a new season of Go Battle League to participate in. The Water Festival: Beach Week event will run until Monday, June 12 at 8 pm (local time) in Pokémon Go, and during this time, Rainy Lure modules will last for two hours. You can also participate in the Global Challenge mentioned above.

This quest costs $5, or the equivalent in your local currency, and please note that this quest will expire on Monday, June 12 at 8pm (local time). This means that if you have not completed the Water Festival: Timed Investigation quest at this time, you will lose the ability to claim the rewards even if you have paid for them.

It’s important to note that Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf are regionally exclusive Pokémon, so if you’re not in the region they spawn in, you won’t be able to battle them in five-star raids in person. However, you can use a combination of remote raid passes and apps like PokeGenie to fight them remotely. Please note that there have been a number of changes to how Remote Raid Passes work.
Finally, there will be new avatar clothing items for sale in the in-game store, including a Sandygast hat!
