How to get Kangaskhan in Pokémon Go
To catch Kangaskhan in the wild in Pokémon Go, unfortunately you’ll have to be in Australia.
This is because it is currently a regional exclusive to that area. It commonly breeds throughout Australia, with Sydney and Brisbane being excellent places to watch.
Alternatively, you can trade with another Pokémon Go player who is willing to part with a Kangaskhan. It will probably have to be someone who has been to Australia and caught one, so you can see how difficult it can be to get Kangaskhan in Pokémon Go.
Occasionally, Kangaskhan is offered as part of special Pokémon Go events, such as when it appeared in Europe in 2017. Currently, there are no announcements regarding the addition of Kangaskhan in other regions.
The Season of Adventure Abundance is almost here! Before it arrives, try to complete the Fascinating Facets and Sky High special research missions. You can also complete a route and fight in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. Kangaskhan was part of the original Pokémon lineup that debuted with the release of Pokémon Go. It is a Gen 1 Pokémon and, as such, has been in the game since July 6, 2016. You will no doubt recognize the Pokémon if you grew up with the original 151 shown in the Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow games. Most recently, it appeared in the Pokedex for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Kangaskhan is called the Parent Pokémon, since it carries a baby in its pouch. Curiously, it shares a connection with another Pokémon: Cubone. You see, a popular fan theory posits that Cubone are actually Kangaskhan babies carrying the skulls of their deceased parents on their heads. This has never been confirmed, but remains a popular theory to this day.
In terms of evolutions, Kangaskhan does not evolve other Pokémon. It has a Mega Evolution called Mega Kangaskhan, which has the same Normal type as the standard version. Mega Kangaskhan is actually much easier to find in Pokémon Go, as it can appear in Mega Raids.
