An Akala Adventure is a special research quest released as part of the Alola Season in Pokémon Go.
If you complete this quest, along with A Melemele Adventure and two other themed quests from the Alola region, before Wednesday, June 1, you will gain free access to an end-of-season event.

Steps of the mission ‘An Akala Adventure’ in Pokémon Go
Below you will find the steps for the An Akala Adventure special research mission and the rewards in Pokémon Go.
While this is a special research mission that you can complete at your own pace, we recommend completing it before Wednesday, June 1. If you do so, in addition to completing the other three themed research missions in the Alola region, you will gain free access to the end-of-season event.

‘An adventure in Akala’ Step 1 of 4
Rewards: 500 XP, 500 Stardust, and encounter with Fomantis
‘An adventure in Akala’ Step 2 of 4
- Use 4 Berries to Help Catch Pokémon – Parasect Encounter
- Catch 2 Water-type Pokémon: encounter with Alomomola
- Take 3 Snapshots of Fire-type Pokémon: Alolan Marowak Encounter
Rewards: 500 XP, 500 Stardust, and 1 Charged TM
‘An adventure in Akala’ Step 3 of 4
- Power up Pokémon 5 times: 7 Raspberries
- Walk 2 km – 10 Poké Balls
- Take 3 Wild Pokémon Snapshots: 10 Nanab Berries
Rewards: 1000 XP, 1000 Stardust and 1 Premium Battle Pass

- Send 5 gifts to friends: 10 cool balls
- Catch 15 Pokémon: 7 Pineapple Berries
- Win a Raid: Alolan Diglett Encounter
Rewards: 8000 XP, 3000 Stardust and 15 Ultra Balls
The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! The Out to Play event is currently taking place. You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.
How Akala’s Adventure works in Pokémon Go
An Akala quest was released as part of the Lush Jungle event in Pokémon Go, but as long as you play before Wednesday, June 1, you’ll unlock this quest.
It is the second in a set of four special research missions themed around the Alola region, with the first being a Melemele adventure. The next two missions will focus on Ula’ula Island and Poni Island. If you complete all four special research missions before Wednesday, June 1, you’ll gain free access to an end-of-season event for the Alola Season.
However, an Akala adventure does not have a deadline, so feel free to complete it at your own pace; just keep in mind the deadline of Wednesday, June 1.
An Akala adventure consists of four quest steps, and like every Pokémon Go research quest, you must complete three challenges for each step, collecting rewards as you go.
