Orthworm, also known as the Lurking Steel Titan, is one of the five Titan Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Discovering and defeating Orthworm is necessary as part of the Path of Legends story in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Lurking Steel Titan Recommended Level
Before facing the Lurking Steel Titan, we recommend that you have a leveled team from 30 years old.

Lurking Steel Titan Location
The Lurking Steel Titan is located east of Zapapico and northwest of Levincia in Area Three of the Eastern Province.
You can get there more easily by following the road that connects these two cities through this area. Once there, you’ll see it poking (or lurking, so to speak) out of the ground.
Encounter with Lurking Steel
As with other Titans, there is some work involved before you can initially fight, as he will move locations several times after your first encounter.
Once you’ve taken down his health the first time, follow him back into the tunnel, where you’ll still have to chase some more. In the end it will eat the grass.
It’s time to fight again, with Arven in tow, who comes equipped with a level 28 Toedscool.
Once the battle is over (see below for weaknesses if you want to easily get the upper hand), you will enter the cave and discover a Herba Mystica. This will unlock a new exploration ability for Koraidon or Miraidon: the high jump ability.

Orthworm Weaknesses
Orthworm is a pure steel type, meaning you’ll want to counterattack with fire or fighting moves.
While you’d normally be right to think that ground would also be useful against a steel-type, Orthworm has an ability that makes ground moves heal them, so it’s best to avoid them!
