Munna 100% perfect IV stats, shiny Munna in Pokémon Go

The September 1st Spotlight Hour is all about Pokémon Dream Eater, which I honestly didn’t expect to be Munna’s officially designated category. Either way, this is the perfect time to try to catch the newly released shiny Munna in Pokémon Go.

Unfortunately, Munna is pretty useless in competitive play and raiding in Pokémon Go, as is its evolved form, Musharna. However, there’s a good chance you’re still missing shiny, given how new it is, and if you still need the perfect 4* Munna, this is your chance to try and find one.

Even if you don’t like Munna, you should try to catch as many Pokémon as you can during this week’s Spotlight Hour due to the double Stardust catch bonus that applies along with the event.

Munna IV stats 100% perfect in Pokémon Go

This week’s Featured Hour is a great opportunity to catch a Munna with perfect IV stats.

Munna.

“Perfect” means two things in Pokémon Go, depending on how you plan to use a given Pokémon. First, there’s the max build, 100% IV, which is the 15/15/15 you’re looking for for your 4* Pokédex, Raids, and Master League. However, because of how CP is calculated using three stats, a perfect Pokémon IV is usually just the best version of itself in the Master League.

Of course, you can’t see a Pokémon’s IV without catching it first, but with a little research beforehand, you can quickly spot a perfect Munna based on CP alone.

If you’re at level 30 (or higher), you’ll ideally be looking for the following CPs for a perfect Munna 15/15/15:

  • Level 30 (Max Wild CP) – 981 CP
  • Level 35 (Weather Boosted Wild Max CP) – 1063 CP
  • The wild CP value aligns with your trainer level until you reach level 30, and since the majority of the player base is now above this level, we’ve kept these values for the sake of simplicity. However, these values will be different if you are currently below level 30.

    Is Musharna good at PvP?

The good news is that no matter which league you’re looking at, both Munna and Musharna perform the same attacks: Charge Beam, Psyshock, and Dazzling Gleam as the second charged move.

    Musharna.

From a move perspective, this combo isn’t great: there simply isn’t enough fast move or shield pressure to take on either of these two Pokémon, and it loses to most right now. Meta-relevant Pokémon in both the Great League and the Ultra League. Likewise, both of them are worse than useless in the Master League.

That being said, both have the advantage of being quite bulky, with decent stats when it comes to stamina. As with all Pokémon in PvP, these two are just a couple of move upgrades away from being relevant. So if you’re interested in this adorable, padded dream-eater, you’re looking at the classic IV breakdown of 0/12/15 for Great League and a 0/15/15 for Ultra League.

The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! The Psychic Spectular event is back! You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

Is there a shiny Munna in Pokémon Go?

Shiny Munna in Pokémon Go was released last month as part of the Go Fest 2022 finale!

If luck is on your side, you may find a shiny Munna in the wild, but keep in mind that this is not a Community Day and shiny rates do not increase, so the chances of catching one, and much less a perfect one, they are very low. . That said, every Munna you see has the potential to be brilliant, so it’s purely a numbers game: play each and every one of them and see what you get. Good luck finding the Munna you need!

If you want to turn your Munna into Mushana, you will need 50 Munna Candies and a Unova Stone.

What does the brilliant Munna look like?

As you can see below, the bright Munna looks quite stunning, taking on a beautiful golden hue with green flowers to boot.

That said, in its evolved form, Musharna looks pretty ugly, like Game Freak turned up the saturation of the reds and nothing more. The pink is a little deeper and the blue is a little more purple.

Other tips for this hour of attention

Besides trying to catch a shiny Munna in Pokémon Go, there are a couple more good reasons to participate in this week’s Spotlight:

    • The best reason is of course the double catch Stardust bonus that runs throughout the hour. This gives you the chance to collect Stardust twice as fast as usual, with each Munna captured granting 200 Stardust instead of the basic 100. If the weather in the game is windy, this adds an additional 50 Stardust (double the usual 25), and this stacks with a Star Piece to give a 1.5x multiplier to all Stardust earned. This means that each Munna caught in windy weather while wearing a Star Piece will be worth 375 Stardust!
    • If you’re a newcomer, this Featured Hour is the perfect time to collect enough Munna Candy to fully evolve this Pokémon and enter all of its evolutions into the Pokédex. Remember, you will need one Unova Stone for each Munna you want to evolve.
    • Thanks to Munna being a Psychic-type, catching a bunch during this Focus Hour will add progress to your Psychic-type catch bonus medals.

Spotlight Hour events only last one hour: from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm (local time). Featured times for September have not yet been announced, but check back next Tuesday for the basic information you need to make the most of the event.
