Rudric is a world boss found in one of the first areas of Lost Ark.
World bosses are worth tracking down, as you can get a good amount of loot from them. This boss is only level 17, but you shouldn’t underestimate him by trying to take him on alone.

Rudric is a level 17 boss that you can find in Rethramis Border, an area in Rethamis.
This boss appears west of the Regria Monastery in the Graveyard. The easiest way to get there is by teleporting to the Regria Monastery tripod.
Rudric appears every 30 minutes, which is the same for other world bosses. In case you haven’t found the boss once you reach the right location and don’t want to wait, you can change the channel.
In Lost Ark, there are multiple instances of the same region called channels, and you can cycle through them until you find one where Rudric is at the top.
You will easily identify if the boss is there because it is surrounded by a red mark.
Rudric Strategy: How to Beat Rudric Boss
Rudric is a giant demon with a huge scythe. Facing him will ask you to pay attention not only to the boss’s attacks but also to the groups of small demons that will appear in the area.
As for his attacks, Rudric is pretty simple, and fighting him in melee from a ranged class is basically the same. The demon has a low-range frontal cone attack that is easy to avoid even in close combat. He’s fast, but the area is so small that you have a hard time avoiding him.
Rudric’s main ability is a circular area-of-effect attack around him that inflicts fear if you get hit. When fighting this boss it is important to remember that you have two options to escape this attack.
The first tries to get out of range, while the second is placed in the center of the attack since it is a safe area.
This boss follows the style of others, such as the Salt Giant, and has random aggro. He will continue walking around the map, changing objectives from time to time. In case you are chosen as Rudric’s prey, he keeps running. Just be careful and don’t get caught by one of his fear attacks while you’re targeted by the boss.
Another aspect of this fight that is important to note is the fact that there will be smaller demons in the area. As you fight Rudric, groups of small demons will appear and attack all players with the boss. Whenever you can, he tries to use some area attacks to help clear them out.
Rudric Drops and Rewards
Defeating Rudric will give you pieces of epic equipment and an epic chest.
By opening it, you will gain more equipment, a card, potions, and a map to a secret location. However, you will earn this chest only after you first kill this boss.
