Now that Fortnitemares is in full swing in Fortnite, you have the chance to defeat the Inkquisitor in Grim Gables.
The first step is to head to Grim Gables in Fortnite, pretty easy. Things get more complicated from there, as you’ll first have to locate the Inkquisitor before defeating him.
Completing this challenge will get you closer to unlocking some exclusive Halloween-themed goodies. However, the fight is quite difficult, so this is the best way to get through it.
Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

How to help defeat the Inkquisitor in Grim Gables in Fortnite
To defeat the Inkquisitor in Fortnite, you will first need to find him in Grim Gables. Once you are there, all you need to do is damage the Inkquisitor before he is killed. Since this is a popular challenge right now, it is expected that there will be many other players.
Just be careful, damage the boss and then take him out yourself or let someone else on your team do it.

The Inkquisitor is located in Grim Gables, in the northern section of the map. You can see it marked below:

Once you’re there, enter the large mansion with a hedge maze outside. The Inkquisitor is now in the mines below. He traverses the ground floor and again finds the summoning circle shown below. He executes it and it will activate, spawning the Inkquisitor.
Look for this summoning circle and walk through it.
Tips to defeat the Inkquisitor
The Inkquisitor is a relatively tough fight, so bring a team with you if you can. They will attack you with fireflies and the new pumpkin launcher. This means fire, basically, so be careful not to get trapped in any of the wooden structures lining the area.
Your best bet is to get in close with a shotgun or SMG, or use the new Goo Gun if you have one on hand. The Inkquisitor doesn’t have much health, but he has support from the zombies in the area. Clear them as he goes, so he doesn’t get backed into any corner.

Inkquisitor Rewards in Fortnite
The Inkquisitor will drop loot when killed. They always drop a Pumpkin Launcher, as well as a legendary weapon. Additionally, you will get 15k XP for damaging and killing them. This will also count towards Fortnitemares quests that are currently running.
