How to get the Archaic Tunic in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Archaic Robe in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is one of the first pieces of armor Link can obtain while exploring Great Sky Island.

It’s not the best armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but the robe can help you survive longer during the early part of the game. It’s also quite an iconic look for Link from the TOTK trailers, so you might want to recreate the look as you explore the vast open world of Hyrule.

To help Link dress appropriately while exploring the sky, below we quickly detail the location of the Archaic Robe in Tears of the Kingdom, as well as a more detailed tutorial on how to obtain the Archaic Robe.

When you get to the cavern with Bubbulfrog, you might want to use a weapon to break through the cracked rocks on the east side and dig up some mine veins that contain a ruby. If a club or sword isn’t enough, use a fused hammer weapon, since that’s what we use to break the rock.
