Genshin Impact A Muddy Bizarre Adventure Event Unlock Requirements
To unlock the A Muddy Bizarre Adventure event in Genshin Impact, you must have accomplished three things:
- Reach Adventure Rank 28
- Complete the world quest “Surreptitious Breaking of the Seven Star Seal”
- Obtain the Lumenstone Adjuvant in the world quest ‘Chasm Spelunkers’ and upgrade it to level 2
There are several archon and story quests you must complete in Inazuma before the world quests ‘Surreptitious Sundering of the Seven Star Seal’ and ‘Chasm Spelunkers’ become available in Liyue. This basically means that the Muddy Bizarre Adventure event is, unfortunately, only playable for those who are up to date with the story so far.
If you can participate in the event, head to the Adventurer’s Guild in Liyue and then to The Chasm to talk to Hosseini and start A Muddy Bizarre Adventure.
Genshin Impact A Muddy Bizarre Adventure challenges and dates explained
Over the course of five days, five challenges will be available in The Chasm as part of the Muddy Bizarre Adventure event. Each challenge is different and each one becomes progressively more difficult. You have to complete these challenges in order, so you won’t be able to jump to a different one if you get stuck.
Although you only need your Lumenstone Adjuvant device to be level 2 to participate in the event, it is recommended to upgrade it to at least level 4 if you are having difficulty completing later challenges.
Muddy Bizarre Adventure’s first challenge, Transportation Test, will be available from the first day of the event, June 22. An additional challenge will be unlocked every day until a total of five are available. You then have until July 4 at 4 am (server time) to complete all challenges and claim your rewards.
Genshin Impact Muddy Bizarre Adventure Transportation Test Challenge and Rewards
Recommended level of Lumenstone adjuvant: 2
The first challenge as part of the Muddy Bizarre Adventure event tasks you with protecting Pursina’s Spike in The Chasm, while clearing any dark sludge you see with your Lumenstone Adjuvant. You can charge your Lumenstone Adjuvant device in special areas that glow blue around the challenge field.
Protect Pursina’s Spike until the three-minute timer runs out, or kill all enemies first to complete the Trial of Transportation challenge and earn x80 Primogems, 40,000 Mora, x2 Guide to Prosperity, and x4 Teachings of the prosperity.
Genshin Impact Muddy Bizarre Adventure Automated Loading Challenge and Rewards
Recommended level of Lumenstone adjuvant: 3
For the second challenge of A Muddy Bizarre Adventure, you must protect Pursina’s Spike as it charges to purify the environment from the dark oozing mud. If an enemy attacks the pickaxe, the charge will be interrupted and will stop for a moment.

You can speed up the charging process by purifying the dark mud around the area while Pursina’s Spike is active, but not if it has been temporarily disabled by an enemy attack.
Once you complete the automated charging challenge when the pickaxe is fully charged, you will get x80 Primogems, 40,000 Mora, x2 Diligence Guide, and x4 Diligence Teachings.
Genshin Impact Muddy Bizarre Adventure Circulation Theory Challenge and Rewards
Recommended level of Lumenstone adjuvant: 4
The third challenge in A Muddy Bizarre Adventure slightly alters the functionality of Purina’s Spike, as you must defeat the required number of enemies while protecting it from the dark mud.
You need to make sure the area around the spike is free of dark mud or enemies will be much harder to take down, as the spike will not produce useful shockwaves in this state.

When you have defeated all enemies in the Circulation Theory challenge, you will receive x80 Primogems, 40,000 Mora, x2 Gold Guide, and x4 Gold Teachings.
Genshin Impact Muddy Bizarre Adventure Emergency Escort Challenge and Rewards
Recommended level of Lumenstone adjuvant: 4
Like similar escort missions in Genshin Impact, the fourth Muddy Bizarre Adventure challenge tasks you with escorting Pursina’s Spike as he floats forward in a hot air balloon.
For this escort mission, you must clear the dark mud with your Lumenstone Adjuvant in addition to defeating the surrounding enemies.

Once the pickaxe has reached its destination within the time limit and you complete the Emergency Escort challenge, you will earn x80 Primogems, 40,000 Mora, x2 Guide to Prosperity, and x4 Teachings of Prosperity.

The fifth and final challenge of Muddy Bizarre Adventure in Genshin Impact involves racking up a high score by earning points by clearing dark mud and defeating normal and elite enemies before the timer ends. Pursina’s Spike can help you defeat enemies again, and taking down an elite enemy by yourself or with the help of the spike will give you the most points.
