Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds is one of the many open-world racer activities, where rumors of rare cars can be found all over the map.
There are 14 in total and once discovered, they can be restored and driven around the map.

Unlike collectibles in most games, you can’t just drive up to a barn and get the loot, even if you have its location.
Instead, you have to wait until the game tells you about them, simply by playing other activities in Forza Horizon 5, where it will then give you a vague indication of their location on the map.
Barn Finds offers several rare and vintage cars to find.
From there, you need to find the specific position, which is where our Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds locations map comes in handy later in this article.
The exception to this are three Barn Finds that are tied to completing secondary objectives in three Apex, Wilds, and Baja Expeditions early in the game. This means that if you want to get a head start on some secret cars, then this is a good place to start.
Listening to rumors and completing Expedition-specific side objectives will add vague Barn Finds locations to your map, in the form of a purple point of interest.

Remember: Aside from the barn finds tied to the expedition, you’ll unlock Rumors to access the above in random order through normal gameplay. It’s all about continuing to play naturally until the desired location is available to you!
Other things you should know about barn finds in Forza Horizon 5
To summarize and clarify other points about Barn Finds:
- Barn Finds are not available at the beginning of the game; Keep playing until the rumors start and their vague locations appear on your map. It’s not until you get a rumor that you can interact with a Barn Find, even if you know where it is.
- Three barn finds are tied to completing secondary objectives in the Apex, Wilds, and Baja expeditions.
- Unlike Forza Horizon 4, there are no barn finds locked behind specific seasons.
- If you’d rather not wait to unlock Barn Finds naturally, you can purchase the ‘Treasure Map’ DLC which not only shows their locations but also allows immediate access.
- You can view vehicles unlocked through Barn Finds in the Garage tab of one of your houses, although remember that after each find you must wait a period of time before they are reset. If you want them faster, you’ll have to pay!
- If you’re having trouble finding certain barn finds within the map radius, you can take out your drone and search nearby.
- Additionally, new to Forza Horizon 5 is the ability to use Barn Find locations to gift cars to other online players. You’ll lose your gifted car in the process, and although it’s completely optional, you’ll receive an achievement for your first draw, so it’s worth doing it at least once to complete it.
- If you decided to use the Gift Drop feature from a found Barn Find location, please note that not all cars can be gifted. However, those that do can be gifted to a specific player base (new players, returning players, etc.), as well as the ability to personalize them with a message and whether you want the gift to be anonymous.
