Digging up piles of dirt to find the Relic Shard and attune it are part of the fifth set of Vibin quests in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3.
In line with the release of the Indiana Jones skin in Fortnite last week, this challenge lets you do some archeology around the island.
Since this challenge is divided into four parts, you will receive 28k XP for completing it, which will help you unlock more skins from this season’s Battle Pass.
Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

Relic Shard Locations in Fortnite
To start this Fortnite challenge, you need to set up a device uplink at one of the two locations around Shuffled Shrines.
Where to start this Vibin’ quest.
After doing so, you will be tasked with unearthing the Relic Shard, but fortunately, all of the possible Relic Shard locations are located fairly close to each other. Simply head to the northeast corner of Shuffled Shrines, near the roads, to find them.
Where to dig up the relic fragment.
Once there, you’ll find a pit, with three piles of dirt on the east side, two on the west, and one just below the pile of wood to the south.
To unearth the Relic Shard, you simply need to hit the piles of dirt with your chosen gathering tool or a weapon. We found the relic fragment in the pile of dirt under the bridge, but this was also the last pile we checked, so you may have to destroy them all.
Unearthing the Relic Shard will allow you to easily complete the third step of this challenge: collecting the Relic Shard, and once that’s done, it’s time to attune the Relic Shard.

Where to tune the Relic Shard in Fortnite
To tune into the Relic Shard, you need to head to the rocky outcrop right in front of the Reality Tree located in the desert. This location is also directly southwest of Rocky Reels.
Where to tune the relic fragment.
Once there, climb up the side of the cliff in front of the Mancake-themed landmark. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see both a pedestal and the landmark.
Now all you have to do is interact with the pedestal to attune the Relic Shard and complete this Vibin’ quest! In the next mission, you will find yourself blocking some pipes.
