How to eliminate an opponent while mounted in Fortnite

To begin completing this task, you must first find a mount and you can currently ride a boar or a wolf once you find one. Now, this is considerably more difficult than in previous seasons, as the spawn rate of both boars and wolves has decreased significantly recently.

If you want to tackle this challenge in style, you can also complete it by riding a motorcycle!

Find an animal mount

It took us a while to find a wild boar, but we finally found one at the edge of the river between the Citadel and Anvil Square.

We recommend activating the ‘Display sound effects’ option in your settings. This way, if you are near a wild boar or wolf, a small indicator will appear on your screen telling you which direction the animal is facing.

In Fortnite, a character confronts a wild boar that is near the edge of the storm.
This one was dangerously close to the edge of the storm, but it was worth it.

Wolf and Boar Locations in Fornite

While searching for a wolf, we suggest you check the areas highlighted on the map below:

Additionally, you can learn how to tame a wolf if you feel like making friends with one.

However, if you are looking for a wild boar, these areas are your best bet:

Once you’ve found a wolf or wild boar, you’ll simply have to jump on its back to start riding it.

How to find a bicycle

Bikes often appear inside barn-like buildings or near buildings. We routinely find bikes at Shattered Slabs, at the tip of Breakwater Bay, and at the cluster of buildings in Frenzy Fields.

If you choose to take on this challenge on a bike, be sure to keep an eye on the fuel gauge and be aware of your surroundings, as enemies will easily hear you when you are near them.

Eliminate the enemy

Once you are on your mount or bike, you can start looking around you for your target. To complete this task, you must defeat an enemy while you are riding your mount. If you jump off the mount and then shoot the enemy, it won’t count.

When you come across your chosen target, simply aim at them and try to take them down before they take you down (or before they attack your mount).

Charging into a crowded area is risky, but it’s an easy way to find a target to take down.

You’re quite exposed and it’s noticeable if you’re running over a wild animal or charging through an area on a bike, so we recommend using a rapid-fire weapon if possible. We initially tried a shotgun, but soon realized it was too slow, so we ultimately opted to use an assault rifle on this occasion.

You must do this successfully three times to complete this Geralt of Rivia challenge!
