Buying an item from Panther, Mancake, or The Underwriter is a weekly challenge in Week One of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4.
This challenge allows you to visit one of three characters on the Fortnite map and purchase an item from them. Who knows, maybe it’s what you need to turn the game in your favor.
Completing this challenge will reward you with 20k XP, which will help you unlock the skins in the new Battle Pass.
Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

Fortnite Panther Location
Panther can be found inside the gas station that is located at the center point between Shimmering Shrine, Rocky Reels, and Herald’s Sanctum. To find it, you will have to go to the small shop at the gas station, although it has been known to occasionally go out onto the street.
While this gas station appears quiet from a distance, it is a popular place to find a vehicle, so be sure to approach with caution. However, if you encounter another player, hopefully there will be a car nearby so you can make a quick escape.
Fortnite Cake Location
Mancake can be found in Rocky Reels, usually wandering around the east side of the main area and sometimes entering one of the buildings.
Since Rocky Reels can be a pretty popular landing spot for players, we recommend waiting a few minutes until the fights are over before purchasing an item from Mancake.
Location of Fortnite the insurer
The Belayer is the hardest character to find for this Fortnite challenge, because he hides at the top of a tower in Tilted Towers.
The easiest way to reach it is by landing on top of the tower at the start of a match; Just keep an eye out for other players, Titled Towers is a popular location after all!
Land on this tower.
Once you’re on the roof, go down the northern skylight to find yourself very close to The Underwriter.
Go through this skylight to find the Belayer.
How to buy a Panther, Mancake or The Underwriter item in Fortnite
Once you’ve found one of these Fortnite characters, it’s time to buy an item from them! To do this, simply interact with the character, select what they have for sale and buy it.
Remember: This challenge requires you to purchase an item, which means choosing another service, such as hiring the character, will not count towards this challenge.
Thanks to the gold bars carried over from Chapter 3, Season 3, you should have enough to purchase any items they have on sale. Still, if you’re running out of money, try opening nearby chests or cash registers or kill another player to get what you need.
