Emote on top of an IO Outpost is one of the latest seasonal challenges released during Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.
This challenge tasks you with visiting one of the ruined IO outposts across the island, to put it bluntly about the current state of IO in Fortnite.
Completing this challenge will reward you with 20,000 XP, which will help you collect the final rewards for this season’s Battle Pass.

Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! IO Outpost Locations in Fortnite
If you want to get excited about an IO Outpost for this Fortnite Season Challenge, you need to know where the IO Outposts are, especially since most have seen better days.
There are five IoT outposts you can speak about, and below you’ll find their locations at a glance:

Remember: you only need to emote on top of an IO Outpost to complete this challenge, and since Season 2 is coming to an end, it’s worth doing so if there’s something you want to unlock in the Battle Pass.

An IO Outpost can be found southeast of Greasy Grove in the small desert area before the river.
Another IO outpost is located on the charred land west of The Joneses, before reaching the temple.
A third IO Outpost is still located between Sanctuary and Tilted Towers, not far from the space lake in these fields.
You can find another IO Outpost near the coast north of The Daily Bugle.
The last IO outpost is east of Logjam Lumberyard, at the foot of a mountain.
