Fortnite Hidden Letters are additional collectibles that can be found as part of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Battle Pass.
To unlock each one, you must unlock the loading screens for each week’s set of challenges.
Each new one will add a hidden letter location, starting with a hidden F, so you can then find it somewhere on the map.

Fortnite Hidden Letters and XP Drops on Loading Screens Explained
Each week in Fortnite, a new loading screen can be unlocked by completing eight of that week’s set of challenges.
If you look at these loading screens closely, they actually give clues to the location of a hidden letter that can be collected on the map.
Head to that location and pick up the Letter to add it to your list.
What a letter will look like when it appears on the map.
If you do this on all letter challenges, you will unlock an additional skin: Sorana.

This concept is not new for Fortnite. Like previous loading screen rewards, you must have unlocked that specific loading screen before it appears on the map.
Seasons 4 to 9 unlocked a variety of skins once you found their respective collectibles on the loading screen, which were The Visitor, The Enforcer, AIM, The Prisoner, and Ruin and Singularity respectively.
Once you have all eight letters, subsequent loading screens will offer XP Drops each week. The concept is the same: find the location indicated on the loading screen, but instead of a letter, you will be rewarded with an amount of XP.
And, as always, you have until the end of Chapter 2, Season 1 to unlock the various loading screens and skins; otherwise, they will disappear forever.

Here’s where you can find every hidden letter in the loading screens throughout Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1 revealed so far:

Fortnite Hidden Letter F Loading Screen Location
Once you have completed eight challenges from the Week 1 New World Challenges set, you will be able to find the letter F hidden on the map.
To find it, head to Lazy Lake, the named location in the southeast of the map.
Once there, land on the eastern mountain. There you will find location F hidden at the highest point.
Fortnite Hidden Letter O Loading Screen Location
Once you have completed eight challenges from the Week 2 Open Water Challenge set, you will be able to find the hidden O on the map.
To find it, head to Craggy Cliffs and go to the large house overlooking the cliff.
Walk around the edge of this house, until you are below the balcony hanging over the cliff. You’ll find the O near the rock wall below this balcony.

Fortnite Hidden Letter R Loading Screen Location
Once you’ve completed eight challenges from the Week 3 Forged in Slurp Challenge set, you’ll be able to find the hidden R on the map.
As expected, you will find this in the location called Slurpy Swamp. You’ll want to head to the northeast corner, where it will be under a walkway in the corner.

Fortnite Hidden Letter T Loading Screen Location
Once you’ve completed eight challenges from the Week 4 Dockyard Deals challenge set, you’ll be able to find the hidden T on the map.
Continuing with the theme of this set of challenges, you will find this card in Dirty Docks.
You’ll find the T on top of the platform between the two cranes at the south end of Dirty Docks. Slide down or use the stairs to reach this area.

Fortnite Hidden Letter N Loading Screen Location
Once you have completed eight challenges from the Week 5 Lowdown Challenge set, you will be able to find the hidden N on the map.
To find the N, you need to head to the EGO Hanger southwest of Holly Hedges. You’ve probably already visited the hangar while completing the challenge of visiting different EGO outposts in The Lowdown set.
Head inside the hangar and you will see a set of yellow barrels at the top of some stairs. The card must be placed on top of those yellow barrels.

Fortnite Hidden Letter I Loading Screen Location
Once you have completed eight challenges from the Week 6 Hide and Seek challenge set, you will be able to find the hidden I on the map.
To find the I, head to the northeast barn of Frenzy Farm. You will find the location of the letter on the upper floor inside.

Fortnite Hidden Letter T Loading Screen Location
Once you’ve completed eight challenges from the Week 7 Trick Shot Challenge set, you’ll be able to find the hidden T on the map.
To find the T, head to the bridge just north of Wailing Woods, where you’ll find it under one of the columns at the end.

Fortnite Hidden Letter E Loading Screen Location
Once you’ve completed eight challenges from Week 8’s dive! Set of challenges, you can find the hidden R on the map.
To find the E, head to the dam in the south of the map, where you will find the letter floating above in the middle.

Fortnite XP Bonus on Loading Screen Location
Once you’ve completed eight challenges from the Week 9 Chaos Rising Challenge set, you’ll be able to find an additional XP drop on the map.
To find it, head to Steamy Stacks in the northwest of the map and look around the Kevin statue (purple cube) outside the main entrance.
