The Lara Croft Gold Skin in Fortnite is a gold version of the Lara Croft skin, which you can unlock by ranking up in the Chapter 2 Season 6 Battle Pass.
If you want to unlock this special skin, you must complete a small in-game task while wearing your Lara Croft skin. Although you may have to compete with other players to do so.
However, once you have completed this task, the Golden Lara Croft will be yours to use whenever you want.

How to unlock Lara Croft’s Golden skin in Fortnite
Fortunately, unlocking Lara Croft’s golden skin in Fortnite is a very easy task to do, although it requires owning this season’s Battle Pass.
First, you need to make sure you have unlocked the Lara Croft skin by reaching level 15 in the Battle Pass.
After this, or if you’ve already unlocked Lara, head to your locker and make sure it’s the skin you’re currently using.
Now it’s time to start a match!
To unlock the Gold Lara Croft skin, you must visit Isla Nublada, which is located off the southern coast of the Fortnite map and directly south of the Flushed Factory.

We recommend completing this task at the beginning of a match, because only one player can pick up the required item per match. This means that you may have to compete with other players to unlock this skin and waiting too long could cause you to miss out.

Once you reach the island, head to the ground floor of the small ruin. Inside you will find Orelia, an NPC, and a golden assault rifle.
Picking up this assault rifle will transform your look into Lara Croft’s golden look. The downside, however, is that Orelia will immediately start attacking you, and since she has a Spire Guardian Primary Assault Rifle, she will most likely kill you.
Luckily, you only need to pick up the gun to unlock the mask, so even if she murders you, Lara Croft’s Golden Mask will still be yours.
If you are having trouble unlocking this skin due to other players getting there first, we recommend waiting until the Battle Bus begins the match by flying directly over the island. This will allow you to fly to Isla Nublada immediately, and upon landing at the highest point of the ruins, you can easily climb down to grab the Golden Assault Rifle.
