Getting Marigold’s message from the deadlock is one of the epic quests in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.
To unlock this challenge, you must first repair the IO equipment, build 25 structures in Corny Complex, and destroy the stolen information. Once you’ve completed these challenges, you’ll be able to collect Marigold’s message!
Completing this challenge will reward you with 30,000 XP, which will help you level up and collect Battle Stars for the Season 7 Battle Pass.

When it comes to finding Marigold’s message in Fortnite, you only have one dead-end location to choose from, so it’s a good idea to keep your wits about you in case you run into another player.
The stalemate itself is located just north of the pond that can be found east of the IO base near Weeping Woods. The easiest way to get to this pond is to go through the IO base or land next to it after jumping off the battle bus.

You’ll find the dead spot next to a large tree just north of the pond and west of a fence not far from the IO base.
