How to prepare for Hoarah Loux
Firstly, it’s worth noting that Hoarah Loux will only appear once you have Godfrey, First Elden Lord at about half health.

Bleed damage is definitely the way to go to reduce Hoarah Loux’s health. You’ll want to use Bloody Slash Ash of War here, and this combined with Mimic Tear is a great combination.
Previously, we would have said to use Hoarfrost Stomp Ash of War, but since the cast time of the attack has been significantly increased, there is simply not enough time to perform it and evade any incoming attacks.
Hoarah Loux Tips: How to Beat Hoarah Loux
There’s no way around it: Hoarah Loux is one of the most intimidating boss encounters in Elden Ring, not just because you’ve seen him literally consume a tiger.
Hoarah Loux fights with his fists in this phase, and is incredibly tough and aggressive, often getting in your face and barely leaving room to breathe.
Hoarah Loux has some area-based attacks and can actually chain them together. When the boss flies in the air, be prepared to dodge the spin once he reaches the top of his jump, but then you’ll want to immediately move away from the boss when he’s on the ground, because you’re about to face a shockwave attack and a follow-up fire area attack that you can see from the ring of bright light on the ground around Hoarah Loux.
In a devastating attack, Hoarah Loux lifts one leg and holds it there. He is about to knock him down, emitting a huge shockwave that spreads across the vast majority of the battlefield.
If you dodge the spin just as Hoarah Loux’s leg hits the ground, you have a good chance of avoiding this attack entirely.
An equally crushing attack causes the boss to bare his chest and charge towards you.
You have to be ready to dodge the spin just as Hoarah Loux brings her hands forward to lock you in, because if you get caught in this, you’ll be caught in an attack that will launch you into the air and back away. for some huge damage.
