Elden Ring Haligtree Secret Medallion locations, where to find Haligtree Secret Medallion left and right halves

Haligtree’s Secret Medallion halves help you access an optional, but important, endgame area in Elden Ring.

Finding them will help you access Consacred Snowfield and Miquella’s Haligtree, home of the game’s toughest challenge, Malenia, Blade of Miquella.

If you travel to the Giant Mountain Peaks and collect the map fragments of the region, you will discover that an area to the west is still shrouded in mystery, and this is where we want to access. It is also necessary for those who want to complete Millicent’s quest.

This guide will explain how to find and use the left and right halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.

Elden Ring Haligtree Secret Medallion Location on the Right Half

The right half of Haligtree’s Secret Medallion is located in the Albinaur Village, which is located in the southwestern part of Liurnia, the second major area in the Elden Ring story critical path.

Despite how the map looks, the Albinaur Village is hidden beneath the cliffs, so travel along the lakeshore from the southeast until you reach a dark cavern with a bridge above.

The village itself is very dimly lit, so carrying a flashlight or torch will be helpful. In any case, the only light source you should be able to see is the Siege of Grace in a nearby hut, not far from a well.

From this waypoint, head east, but follow the cliff to your right and climb a slope until you find a noticeably isolated jar, which should also stick out, as it looks different from the jar people you may have already found. .

Hit it and you will discover a character named Albus hidden inside. Talk to him and he will give you the right side of Haligtree’s Secret Medallion and tell you to show it to someone named Latenna. If you talk to him again after that, he will collapse and turn to dust.

From here, you’re just one step away from getting the Royal Remains armor set.

In addition to this, the next part is not strictly necessary, but if you want to find Latenna the Albinauric and show her half of this medallion, she will tell you the location of the other half and get a new summon in the process. .

She can be found with her wolf companion Lobo in the Slumbering Wolf’s Shack south of the lake in Liurnia.

To reach this area, you will first need to venture through the Lakeside Crystal Cave and defeat the Bloodhound Knight.

After defeating this mini-boss, instead of taking the portal to return to the entrance, continue on and you will reach the south to the hut location.

If you arrive here without half of the medallion, Latenna will send you away, but show her the right half and she will tell you that the other half can be found in Castle Sun and will even join you as a summonable spirit.

If you didn’t talk to Latenna, Millicent also mentions the Sun Castle that contains half of the medallion if you’ve been following her quest line and meet her at the Top of Giant Mountain.

Haligtree’s Secret Medallion from Elden Ring in the left half of the location

If you’ve spoken to Latenna or Millicent, then you’ll know that the left half of Haligtree’s Secret Medallion is located in Castle Sol, on Mountaintop of the Giants.

You will not be able to reach this area until you have defeated Morgott the Omen King in Leyndell, Royal Capital.

It also means that you will need to use Rold’s Great Elevator at least once to reach this late-game region before you can use the secret medallion on the same elevator later on.

You can see the location of Castillo Sol on the map in the following images:

The castle is in the north of the region. From the Freezing Lake Site of Grace, head north away from the lake and follow a path west through what is basically a large cemetery.

You can ignore the giant skeletal enemies rising from the ground, although you’ll also see a path to your left that will lead you to a minor Erdtree where you can fight an Erdtree avatar for Crystal Tears.

Otherwise, continue west until you reach a point where you can safely descend to lower ground in the north before heading east again towards Castle Sol.

When you reach this area, you will also be attacked by a tough world boss called Death Rite Bird, but you can skip this encounter with Torrent and continue traveling east.

After passing a walking mausoleum, you will arrive at Castle Sol with a Siege of Grace just outside the main gate.

There is only one other Siege of Grace inside the castle before you reach the fort’s very tough boss, Commander Niall, who you must defeat to reach the other half of the medallion.

It’s actually better to continue using the main gate’s Site of Grace after taking an elevator just outside the boss fog instead of the Eclipse Church inside.

Although in both cases you will have to run past some annoying enemies, the former will not follow you to the elevator, while the latter will chase you to the wall of fog.

If you summon a spirit for this fight, it may become distracted and fight the enemies behind the wall of fog.

Given how tough Niall is, who also summons two spirit knights and then becomes even more powerful once they are defeated, it is highly recommended that you summon a spirit or player for this fight.

Once Niall is down, touch the Siege of Grace that appears and then go through the doorway ahead to a keep.

Enter and take the elevator up, then follow the steps to the top, where you’ll find a specter kneeling next to the left half of Haligtree’s Secret Medallion.

Once you’ve decided on a starting class and a starting keepsake item, you first need to figure out how to level up, how to respec, and how to use Ashes of War. Do you need any directions from there? How to use Haligree’s secret medallion in Elden Ring

Since you will already need to have passed the Forbidden Lands to reach the Great Rold Elevator that takes you to the Top of Giant Mountain while you search for the second half of Haligtree’s Secret Medallion, you should have no problem returning to its location quickly. -travel to the nearby Sitio de Gracia.

Once you approach the large elevator, you will be instructed to pick up your usual medallion. If you have both halves of Haligtree’s Secret Medallion, you will have the option to change actions by pressing left or right, giving you the option to hoist the Secret Medallion.

Do this and a cutscene will play taking you to a new location. You’ll arrive in a fairly dark and hostile area, but feel free to run past the enemies and head to the surface, with a Siege of Grace welcoming you to the Consecrated Snowfield.

From here, you now have to solve the puzzle of Ordina, the Liturgical City, to finally reach Malenia, Sword of Miquella. Good luck!
