Destiny 2’s weekly reset is the biggest day of the week for those who want to get the most out of Bungie’s loot-filled shooter.
Many in-game activities, particularly those that offer high-level loot, limit their rewards to once a week, so knowing the day these activities reset and start again is key to helping you reach higher levels and try new challenges.
There is also a daily reset time, which rotates what is available from vendors and other activities.

Destiny 2 Weekly Reset Time: When is the weekly reset time in Destiny 2?
In Destiny 2, the weekly reset time is every Tuesday at the following times:
- United Kingdom: 17:00 (GMT)
- Europe: 18:00 hours (CET)
- US East Coast: 1:00 pm (EST)
- US West Coast: 10am (PST)
Note: The above reflects the daylight saving time change in each region in November 2022.
Each Destiny 2 weekly reset affects the following activities:
- Reward Progression and Playlist Activity Reset (Strikes, Gambit, and Crucible)
- New Nightfall Strike, Reset Reward Progress and Weapon Scheduling
- Clan engram resets from Hawthorne in the Tower
- Raid progress and rewards.
- Dungeon progress and rewards.
- Spider’s Wanted Bounty Lineup
- Activities in Europe: Eclipsed Zone (Cadmus Ridge), Empire Hunt (The Technocrat) and Exo Challenge (Simulation: Safeguard)
- Weekly Mission: Dark Monastery
- New Eververse inventory will be purchased with Silver and Bright Dust
You can only redeem rewards once per week, so make sure you complete them before the reset. If you complete them but don’t redeem them, they will be automatically decrypted the next time you log in after the reset so you don’t miss anything.

What time is the Destiny 2 daily reset and what changes each day?
In addition to a weekly reset for certain activities, there will be a “daily” reset time, which will take place at the following times:
- United Kingdom: 17:00 (GMT)
- Europe: 18:00 hours (CET)
- US East Coast: 1:00 pm (EST)
- US West Coast: 10am (PST)
Note: After October 30, 2022, clocks in the United Kingdom and Europe were turned back one hour thanks to the change to daylight saving time in each region.
In terms of what is reset each day, this includes:
- New Legendary and Master Lost Sector
- Rewards (such as from the Gunsmith, Seasonal Vendor, Playlist, and Planetary Vendors)
- Mods (from the armorer and Ada)
- New Eververse Discounted Daily Item
- Vanguard/Attack Modifier Changes
- Switch to Spider Materials (useful for easy Glimmer)
