The Destiny 2 Interference Aspect is a questline introduced in Season of the Splicer on May 11, 2021.
Like Aspect of Control and Aspect of Influence at the beginning of Year 4, introduce another Stasis Aspect to your Stasis subclass after completing each quest step.
This will be Diamond Lance, Glacial Harvest, or Touch of Winter, depending on your class.

How to complete the Interference Aspect quest shortly
As with other Stasis missions, Aspect of Interference allows you to complete various challenges within the Europa destination.
Note that you must have completed Aspect of Influence, which arrived during the Season of the Chosen and can also be obtained from the Exo Stranger, before you can begin Aspect of Interference.
Here’s an overview of each step of the Interference Aspect mission:
- Visit Exo Stranger in Europa to begin the mission.
- Investigate the appearance of new entropic fragments in Kell’s Rising
- Complete the heroic version of the Exo Challenge ‘Survival’
- Visit the Ziggurat in the afterlife
Once this is done, a new Aspect (Bleak Watcher, Howl of the Storm, or Grim Harvest) is yours. This is shorter than most Stasis-related quests, so expect to complete them within an hour, provided you’re level enough to complete the Exo Challenge, of course.
How to investigate the appearance of entropic fragments in the Well of Infinity
With the Aspect of Influence quest collected from the Exo Stranger, you must visit Kell’s Rising to investigate the Darkness. This is at the northern end of the map; Head to Eventide Ruins, take the lift up to Riis-Reborn Approach, and then at the “split” in the route, turn right.
If you get lost, follow the mission and follow the markers on the screen.
When you arrive, shoot each of the entropic fragments (which, as a reminder, are floating triangles) with Salvation’s Grip Exotic.
If you forgot to bring it with you, remember that you can use the Destiny phone app to move gear from your Vault at any time. There are chests scattered throughout to help you reload if you also run out of heavy ammo.
Shards appear in sequence as you explore the area. The route takes you to a series of platforms and will appear in the air above them periodically. They’re easy to miss – below is a gallery of them all in sequence after the first one.
Once this is done, you will be at the end of the area and a pyramid and groups of enemies will appear.
Defeat them all; They have 1320 power, so if you are doing this mission on its debut, it may take a few tries, even if you respawn unlimitedly. Once everything is done, the Empowered Master Key will drop and the next stage of the mission (completing the Heroic Simulation, also known as the Heroic Exo Challenge) will be available.
This will be available to select on the map.
This is a heroic version of Europe’s weekly rotating quest, which will be set at 1320 Power. If you’re playing this at the start of Season of the Splicer, you’ll need the new gear level cap to have a decent chance, as well as coming equipped with overload mods to defeat champions.
With this done, you must now simply return to Beyond, the area at the southern tip of Europe where the Exo Stranger is located, and visit the Zigguart. This is where you will be granted the new Aspect.

Diamond Lance, Glacial Harvest and Touch of Winter in Destiny 2 explained
Completing Aspect of Influence will reward you with a new Aspect for that subclass. These are:
- Diamond Lance (Titan): Shatter or defeat targets with stasis abilities to create a stasis spear. Throw the spear to freeze targets on impact; Strike the spear against the ground to freeze targets in a small area.
- Glacial Harvest (Warlock): Frozen targets create stasis shards around frozen targets. Higher level fighters create more fragments.
- Touch of Winter (Hunter): Your Glacier, Duskfield, and Coldsnap grenades have improved functionality. (Glacier adds a stasis crystal and changes the formation; Duskfield increases the size of the slow field and creates a small stasis crystal on impact; Cold Snap sees the seeker travel further, faster, and chain themselves once again.)
