If you’ve already somehow managed to overcome even the nastiest opponents in Dark Souls 2, you’ll be happy to know that the first DLC content is now available. Titled Crown of the Sunken King, it is the first of three new releases in The Lost Crowns trilogy of content, with the remaining two installments scheduled for release in August and September.
This new adventure will take you deep into the dank and gloomy bowels of the Shulva Necropolis. There, expect more of the series’ trademark giant bosses, equally agonizing trash opponents, and more traps than would be strictly sensible to place in this kind of enclosed space.
Starting with Crown of the Sunken King, we’re preparing a full walkthrough for this new content, so you can fight your way through any unbearably problematic encounters you encounter. Needless to say, there is no shortage of spoilers in this article, so be warned.
