Battlefield 1 Kolibri – How to get the tiny gun Kolibri in multiplayer

Battlefield 1’s Kolibri has to be seen to be believed: the 2mm caliber weapon is almost certainly the smallest weapon to appear in a shooter, and despite its small size, it can be used in any of the Battlefield 1 maps and modes. game.

The Kolibri is based on a real-world weapon designed by Franz Pfannl, an Austrian watchmaker in 1918, and was designed as a self-defense weapon. Its name is inspired by the ‘hummingbird’, the smallest bird, which seems quite appropriate for its tiny size, don’t you think?

As you can imagine, the Kolibri isn’t particularly powerful, but that should only add to the joy when you finally kill it.

How to get the Kolibri in Battlefield 1

Despite its novelty value, unlocking the Kolibri is actually a very simple process: once you reach Rank 10, it will be available to purchase for 150 War Bonds.

All four classes (Assault, Medic, Scout and Support) will be able to use it as long as you reach the required rank in each, and it can be placed within the Handgun category for when you want to give it a try.

Here’s the Kolibri in action, along with some gameplay, including its unique reloading and weapon switching animations:

What else do we know about the Kolibri in Battlefield 1?

According to Wikipedia, each bullet weighed only 0.2 g (3 grains) and could only penetrate 10 to 40 mm (0.4 to 1.6 in) of pine board. Of course, that’s enough to easily hurt someone, and in Battlefield 1, it would take a few rounds to deal a decent amount of damage…

Unsurprisingly, the Kolibri is the weakest weapon in Battlefield 1, with a meager firepower value of 4 (compared to the M1911 pistol, which has 11 times the power).

However, it has the highest control statistic of any weapon in the game and the highest ammo of any weapon. Here are his full stats:

Damage Accuracy hip fire Control Rate of fire Ammunition
4 25 67 100 450 8/192

As you may have guessed, we probably wouldn’t recommend it for regular gaming. If you’re confident enough, you can get up close and personal with headshots to deal more damage, and while his high control might help you aim, by the time you’ve reached rank 10 you’ll probably be fine. If you are used to the game and other weapons, you won’t have this problem.

As such, we recommend many other Battlefield 1 weapons, which you can explore and compare their damage, accuracy, and control stats in full.

However, if you decide to use it, we wish you the best of luck!
