When you are near a Chocobo stop that you haven’t found yet, a Chocobo Chick will appear and very politely guide you to their location, all you need to do is follow them.

Remember, in order to fast travel to a Chocobo stop, you must have successfully contested the region’s Chocobos and repaired the Chocobo stop.
How to fix a Chocobo stall in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
To repair a Chocobo stop, you must walk to the stop sign dropped on the ground with the Chocobo icon. Then, when prompted, press and hold Triangle to place the sign upright.
Once you have done this, Chocobo Stop will be repaired and unlocked as a fast travel destination. You will also be rewarded with golden feathers that you can spend on Chocobo Gear.

How to Pet a Chocobo Chick in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
To the most important thing: pet the chick. To pet a Chocobo Chick in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you must repair its Chocobo Stop.
Once you’ve fixed it, walk up to Chocobo Chick and wait for the Triangle message to appear above his head. When he does, he presses Triangle and you will spend a few good seconds petting them.
