You need to find Star Wars weapons to complete some Star Wars 2023 Find the Force challenges in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.
This Star Wars crossover is a little different than the rest, as completing Find the Force challenges will award points toward a mini battle pass, packed with Star Wars cosmetics, including free and premium skins.

Where to find Star Wars weapons in Fortnite
There are currently four Star Wars weapons in Fortnite:
- The DC-15 blaster
- Green Jedi Padawan Lightsaber
- Blue Jedi Padawan Lightsaber
- Sith Apprentice Red Lightsaber
The DC-15 Blaster can be found in Republic chests. You can also find it in floor loot or normal chests, but they are much less likely to spawn this way due to the increased loot. Since they are classified as mythical, keep an eye out for items with a yellow glow.
Here is where you can find Republic chests:
- On the road west of Slappy Shores
- On the road southwest of Frenzy Fields
- On the path north of Shattered Slabs
You have to work a little harder to get lightsabers in Fortnite during this Star Wars event, as you need to visit Obi-Wan, Anakin, or Darth Maul and learn force powers from them. Once you do this, a rift will appear and jumping through it will place a lightsaber in your inventory.
So to get a lightsaber, head to one of the Jedi or Sith icons that appear on your map, like the Darth Maul icon below, then talk to the Star Wars NPC to learn force powers and go through the rift to receive a lightsaber in your inventory.

Note that if another character reaches a Star Wars NPC first and interacts with it, it will disappear and appear elsewhere.
The only other current way to get a lightsaber right now seems to be to kill an opponent who has one in their inventory.
