Where you can find one of the main novelties of Warzone Pacific: combat planes.
Fighter jets are a new addition to Warzone Pacific.
Found in specific locations on the new map, these allow you and another player to fly around the map, track enemy locations, and engage in dogfights.
If this seems too powerful, don’t worry: you can also easily shoot down planes with anti-aircraft guns.

Aircraft Locations in Warzone: Where can you find Aircraft in Warzone?
The plane locations are mostly near landing strips, with two key locations where you’ll find a handful of planes each. However, there are others that could also be overlooked.

Warzone Plane Controls: How do you fly planes in Warzone?
To pilot a plane, approach it as you would any other vehicle and press the Square Button (on PlayStation) / X Button (on Xbox).
Use the left analog stick to take off and use the right analog stick to fly. There are also additional controls, including weaponry and a free camera, including:
- Move/speed: left stick
- Look/Rotate: Right Stick
- Fire – Right Trigger / R2
- Zoom / Aim Down – Left Trigger / L2
- Air Brakes – Left Bumper / L1
- Free view with camera – Right bumper / R1
- Change seats: A button (Xbox) / X button (PlayStation)
One key feature you don’t have to enable is a radar that adds other players to your screen. Simply fly down the map and anyone else nearby will be temporarily highlighted with a red indicator, which is useful if you want to escape and engage in person, or have the rest of your squad on the ground while you take to the skies.

How do anti-aircraft guns work in Warzone?
To counteract the arrival of planes in Warzone, you can use anti-aircraft guns.
These are spread across the Warzone map more sporadically and can be quickly identified with a telltale icon.
Additionally, you can find an anti-aircraft gun on the back of utility trucks, allowing you to take them with you and place them in places where stationary ones are not found.
For those who don’t like airplanes, we found them to be surprisingly effective: they shoot down airplanes quickly if they fly directly overhead.
