How to unlock the AMAX in Warzone
The CR-56 AMAX can be acquired by purchasing shop blueprints or through an in-game challenge which will seem quite simple if you are used to this category of weapons.
To unlock the AMAX in Warzone, you must get 3 Gunbutt kills while using an Assault Rifle in 10 different matches.
In case you don’t know the term, Gunbutt refers to melee attacking when you’re carrying a weapon, rather than melee with a knife or your fists. You will have to kill three enemies in ten different games with this method.
Unfortunately, there is no chance of advancing this challenge in the Cold War, so 24/7 Nuketown is out of the question. We recommend that you focus first and foremost on Warzone’s Plunder mode. It will save you tons of time compared to Battle Royale since you can revive during the match.

The monolithic suppressor is the current best option for the muzzle category. Along with sound suppression, it increases the damage range of the assault rifle quite a bit. Aiming down speed and walking stability are affected in return, but not by a large margin.
Over the canyon. If you were wondering about bullet velocity and recoil control, don’t worry as the XRK Zodiac S440 will increase both, as well as the damage range even more. Movement and ADS speed take a hit, but it’s worth it.
Instead of a laser, the CR-56 AMAX actually benefits from an optic. In particular, we found the VLK 3.0x optic to be the best option, providing one level of zoom with the caveat of slightly decreasing ADS time. However, when considering the increased damage range of the build, an optic is a must.
Next, the lower barrel. We opted for the Commando Foregrip, which increases both recoil and aiming stability. As a result, the movement speed decreases slightly, but other than that, this is the best underbarrel weapon.
Lastly, ammunition. This is key since the magazine will be somewhat limited from the beginning, so the 45 Rounds Mags can be of great help. It comes at the cost of reducing ADS time and movement speed, but this won’t be a big concern.

Moving on to the equipment, we opted to use the heartbeat sensor ourselves. This will complement the role of both weapons: enemies that are far away can be taken down with the Swiss K31, while the CR-56 AMAX can take care of any stray targets that dare to approach you.
Lastly, we still like the Proximity Mine; It deploys quickly and will always have your back, especially if you place it next to doorways or stairs. Lastly, it also serves as a good alarm for nearby enemies, in case you can’t check the heartbeat sensor in time.
