The .410 Ironhide is a new shotgun that debuted during Season 6 and arrived in both Black Ops: Cold War and Warzone.

It had been a while since a shotgun of this style appeared and thankfully it stands out everywhere. Presented as a lever-action shotgun, it feels similar to its rifle counterpart, but instead has the power of a shotgun.

This page will cover how to unlock the .410 Ironhide as quickly as possible, and the best .410 Ironhide loadout recommendations and .410 Ironhide classes to get the most out of it.

How to unlock the .410 Ironhide in Warzone

As is often the norm with new weapons in the Battle Pass, the .410 Ironhide can be unlocked by leveling up the Battle Pass or purchasing a blueprint.

To unlock the .410 Ironhide, you must reach level 15 in the battle pass.

It is a fairly simple task, but it must be recognized that it can take a long time. If you’re playing Black Ops Cold War, we recommend completing the 24/7 modes as well as the Team Deathmatch playlists. They won’t take long in terms of match length and you can always get good XP from them, which creates a good balance.

If you opt for Warzone only, it is essential to choose Plunder instead of Battle Royale, as it will allow you to revive during the match and get the most out of each session. But Battle Royale or Rebirth modes will also work well. Up to you!

The best Warzone .410 Ironhide gear and accessories

Below are our recommendations for an optimal .410 Ironhide load, as well as the corresponding levels for each:

  • Muzzle: Agency Choking (unlocks at level 31)
  • Barrel: 24.2″ Task Force (unlocked at level 32)
  • Laser: SOF Target Designator (unlocked at level 16)
  • Stock: Out of stock (unlocks at level 25)
  • Ammunition: 7 Rnd Tube (unlocked from the beginning)

Starting with the muzzle, we opted for the Agency Choke. This adds vertical recoil control, bullet velocity and an increase in effective damage range, as well as sound suppression. Your aiming speed will be affected, as will your walking stability and aiming stability, but not much.

Let’s move on to the canyon. We opted for the 24.2″, which increases damage range and adds bullet speed. In exchange, you trade off hipfire accuracy and movement speed.

As for the laser, we opted for the SOF target designator, which increases the effective damage range and accuracy of hipfire, the latter compensating for the drawbacks of the barrel and stock. Enemies will see a flashlight as compensation, but it’s not a big deal by any means.

Choosing the No Stock accessory will exponentially increase your sprint time to fire, while slightly affecting hip fire accuracy.

Lastly, opting for the 7-round tube attachment is the best option for your gun’s ammunition. It decreases reload speed, but it’s worth it for the bullets to go up.

Warzone Season 5 is almost here! Best Warzone .410 Ironhide Class Build, Perks, and Loadout

Here are our picks for the best items, like loadouts and perks, to create the best .410 Ironhide class build in Warzone:

  • Perk 1: Quick Fix (unlocks at level 42)
  • Perk 2: Overkill (unlocks at level 38)
  • Perk 3: Expanded (unlocks at level 1)
  • Primary: C58 (unlocked by longshot kill in 15 different completed matches, using assault rifles)
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor (unlocked at level 1)
  • Lethal: Claymore (unlocked at level 1)

The .410 Ironhide doesn’t have the highest rate of fire, but it makes up for it with great power. It won’t take you long to kill the enemies, so we recommend starting health regeneration immediately afterwards with Quick Fix. As usual, if level 42 sounds a little high, we recommend going for EOD as it will help mitigate damage from explosives and non-killstreak shots until you can unlock this perk.

We recommend going with Overkill as a second buff. This time we chose the C58 as our main option. You’ll need the rate of fire of an assault rifle, and this option delivers.

For the third perk, we opted for Amped over the others to ensure you can switch between the two weapons as quickly as possible.

Lastly, the heartbeat sensor is the perfect companion for preparing ahead of time or tracking down anyone who dares to escape your line of sight. However, in case someone manages to sneak near you, having a Claymore placed near you should help.
